Year sub buyers: how you feeling 6 months later?

Not really.

I love the beetle mount but I barely log on to use it.

Feeling just fine. It’s nice to just have it done and paid for.

I was so obsessed with this game for so long. In January got a new gaming PC, got suckered into a 12 month.

5 months later I log in like once every other week, maybe spend an hour or two on a level locked toon running old dungeons 1/2 in the bag.

My highest level is 61 abandoned right after dragon riding.

At the moment the amount of playing through stuff I’m not feeling to get to the stuff I want o do feels like an obstacle.

I want to get back into endgame, I just don’t want to do what I have to do to get to end game.

Taking a few days off next week with no real plans, so maybe I’ll get a window where I suck it up and push through.

I have 7 more months of sub time to waste, so see where it leads.

Sounds like the expansion isn’t 1/2 bad. Like what I’ve seen. Just not much motivation to level all the way and then gear and then push. Feels like too much work after work at the moment.

I will never buy a year sub, but kudos to those that do.
Dragonflight is very mid imo

I’ve been enjoying it, no complaints here! Between raiding, m+, world content, mouth/pet/mog/achieve collecting, and RP, I don’t run out of things to do!

Feeling good but I’m not sure if I’ll play for the entire year. It all depends on just how much fun I have with Diablo 4. I’ll still full clear heroic and do all +20 keys but then will evaluate for the next tier.

Been enjoying it, this expansion’s patch cycle has left alot less downtime between updates, so at least every couple of months there is something new to do.

I bought it. First time paying real $ for WoW since the WoW tokens became a thing. No regrets. Dragonflight is fun enough. I raid hard til AOTC then take a few months break/just doing casual stuff. If it’s boring I don’t play, but typically I login daily and do something, even a low M+ key for an alt or something.

Feels like I paid less per month and got free stuff for it.

Played for a month after subbing for year, took 4mths off. Only back now farming old content and participating in TW.
I was psyched for DF, but it fell flat for me.

Wow has always been my #1 go to for cheap entertainment, can’t complain. Although DF is shaping to be meh for me, I still find things to do.

I knew where I’d be 6 months down the line so I paved the way with a slightly less expensive path. I’ll be doing it again in another 6 months.

I missed the year promo…oopsie…hope the bring it back… I did the 6 month tho…I like dragonflight…just wish they would slow down the pace at which patches come out…so I can catch my breath and complete stuff.

IIRC, the last time I got a 6-month sub we got Sanctum.

Yup, never being jebaited with that again, even if Dragonflight has been good. As soon as I pull the trigger on a 6-month we will get some dark cursed nonsense.

In terms of narrative, in terms of zones, in terms of non-pillar content, in terms of flavor, I definitely agree.

That said, I do enjoy M+. It’s a very fragile balance. All it takes is one bad M+ season for me to dip, just hasn’t come yet, they keep delivering very strong M+ content that I enjoy playing. Good class gameplay, good dungeon content. Not as rewarding as I would like but fun is its own reward so I keep playing.

Yes i knew the first year of expansion i like now after that the court still out on it .

Yeah. And as an added bonus, the D4 crossover event launches today so we’ll have 3 weeks of bonus xp and activities to get the collectables.

It seems like everytime I get settled in with the new content, they add something else for me to do.

Honestly, as much as I complain on the forums about small things, DF is actually a solid expack so far. S1 was really fun and Vault was a good raid, and S2 is pretty good and Aberrus is a fun raid. So I actually don’t regret my purchase (that’s the first time you’ll hear a Blizzard player say that in 2023) because for me, DF is soooo much better than BFA and SL combined easily.
