After figuring out where exactly the body of the bastard Paladin Riger Redridge was stored; Maurice Cain, Ira’caius Silvercast and Gerard Lancaster ventured into the depths of the Shady Lamb in order to discover what had happened to the body of the slain paladin and if he still held the key to a certain relic. In a few seconds the group found themselves in a dilemma, as the room itself became a illusion, trapping them as Riger rose from his grave and the floors around them broke apart revealing a empty phylactery in a pit as souls left and entered Rigers coffin
Facing the undead paladin all seemed to be going in the groups favor for a time before a bolt nearly knocked Gerard into the pit of souls only for Ira’caius to aid his partner and Maurice to fend the cackling undead paladin. In the end it was Gerard who struck the final blow, bringing forth flames that turned the undead into a pile of ash with a crypt warning, that this will not be the only area of attack and the undead rise was only beginning
As the area was cleared Maurice stayed behind, discovering a few things that worried him. The undead paladin who they faced was in fact not Riger Redridge but a fallen Scarlet Priest and the phylactery the souls were stored in was a creation of the bastard paladin putting him back at square one as he returned home to Ironforge wondering, where is Riger Redridge?
