His guild has been selling run long before he joined the guild.
It’s weird how you act like it’s his doing, they have been doing sales since like WOD

its only ad hominem if:
“If someone doesn’t value evidence, what evidence are you going to provide to prove that they should value it? If someone doesn’t value logic, what logical argument could you provide to show the importance of logic?”
He isn’t selling carries for mythic plus 20-23 - I don’t even have to look at your armory to know what type of player you are.
Both of you are right.
Ad hominem is an immediate surrender in any argument, no matter how the person spewing it tries to rationalize otherwise. The moment you start attacking the person instead of their argument, you’ve lost, period.
Your comment was borderlined at best.
Also, people so often here demand proof (mostly sealioning) and no matter what proof you provide, they’ll pretend it’s not good enough so that they can pretend you never presented any at all.
You are suppposed to pay others to go on adventure for you, while you watch netflix ^^
Its the new way of mmo’s!
Funny I’ve managed to just pay only the expansion price so far for this expansion. Feels like your math is way off.
why would they bother with M+ or raiding if they already have gear? plus it is easy to see who bought carries and who didn’t, if this is happening blame the brain dead group leader.
Say what? You admit you are attacking the person to try and discredit them and then turn around and try to claim it isn’t an ad hominem attack
That is the problem, you, and the OP submit anecdotal evidence and try to convince everyone it is fact. Opinions about why something is happening doesn’t equate to causality.
At any rate, it has been entertaining, but now I’m off to play the other WoW game.
Actually, I have no problem with those that don’t purport to have proof but simply say they believe their evidence supports a specific theory and respect those that disagree or interpret what is happening differently.
But, to be honest, I mostly just read and respond to the forums for entertainment and don’t really expect civility or real fact based discussions. That way I’m never disappointed.
i think the best part is calling someone tone deaf is generally going out of your way to say they have erred in interpretation without insulting their intelligence. so how you got adhominem from that is beyond me.
Sales isn’t even close to a weak point in the game. Stop being over dramatic.
Any time you attack/malign/disparage/etc. a person, instead of addressing the argument directly that is the very definition of an Ad Hominem attack. Many, including myself, consider Ad Hominem attacks as a sign of the weakness of the attacker’s argument. So using that method (one usually employed by trolls) is very much counterproductive if you are trying to convince someone of the merits of your argument.
this isn’t correct, ad hominem has to do with insulting the person giving the argument when you do not have a proper counter.
pointing out that someone has erred is not an insult unless they are foolish enough to think themselves perfect.
Ad hominem is a form of surrender. It’s surprising how many past 2006 still think it’s a valid response.
No, Ad Hominem means:
(of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining.
I think Blizzard needs to remove the ‘search’ option and also that thing that pops up saying there are similar threads. We’ve gone over this already.
Boosting has always been a thing. It’s a means to an end for Guilds.
Ybarra also really likes m+.
He ain’t the wow dev, he’s in charge of other games on a corporate level.
Spam is an issue for lots of games and places, just grab an addon to block it… from a technical point of view, Blizz is in a never winning battle unless they implement stricter chat policies and moderation in-game.
LFG sales have had things to curtail it but when the lot of 'em have stolen or throw-a-way accounts it’s hard to really tackle it and I suspect they’d need to figure out something else which would also have a work around lol
Man you people are never satisfied with anything
What’s your secret
because in matters that are not tested or testable, credibility matters, ad hominem tries to remove credibility by making the person delivering the point look bad. the problem is that this is distinct and doesn’t just apply to any insult or any negative comment. you can do both without committing ad hominem.
stating that someone is tone deaf is not ad hominen. im not dismissing your point because i can’t counter it, im saying your point is flawed because you erred in your judgement.
There are lots of ways to make gold. Personally I’m always on the low end, but that is because all of the gold making methods require a time investment that I’m not willing to make. When I play, making gold is secondary to simply doing things I find fun. Having said that, I do usually have enough for the things I do need to buy. Like mats to level professions. But I’ll never have enough to buy M+ or Mythic runs
Boosting is pay for power. Sure, it’s been around for awhile, but it’s very much in your face now with the huge differences in iLevel.
For casual PVP it really sucks. I wouldn’t care so much if the gear difference was less for epic and random BG’s, or if there was a better path that was obtainable without doing rated/carried content.
It’s kind of nuts to design the play experience around the very low percentage of players who are doing high end content. Especially for PVP, where the more skilled players shouldn’t need a huge iLevel advantage in non-rated PVP play.
If they are so skilled, I’d suggest a handicap for them in non-rated play, like golf. I kid. I kid. Well, kind of.
