They would probably lose in the lore, but the horde clearly won the faction war in real life

Well, they basically just killed any chance there was left of genuine WPVP. Sure BGs will be fine - though mostly Horde vs Horde, but any chance of true open world pvp is now dead.
Clearly fixing one was easier. We won’t get balanced servers w/o CRZ.
until blizz buffs ally racials, then everyone faction changes again until legion lol. has nothing to do with. Has nothing to do with “what faction is cooler” you will see people by the thousands change factions…just like we did with TBC. or do you think it jumped from a 6$ difference to a 22% difference with TBC launch just because “zombies are neat”? you dont have that huge of a population (of primarily pvpers) switch sides, just because. literally hundreds of people from my server rerolled horde because the OP racials in arena lol
Add EMFH and additional race and class combos to Alliance. Let Gnomes summon a mech suit that lets them fire stun bombs at players and makes them immune to CC (BG, wPvP only). Also let them be shaman that summon really tiny totems. Like really really tiny ones. So small they cannot be targeted.

I don’t care about arenas. I like doing random bgs wpvp and raiding. And i do think it’s a huge problem that blizzard did not handle properly
No I’m not happy. My mud house isn’t big enough. My firepit wasn’t big enough to roast my wild boar…now I must make it bigger. However you alliance are standing on Good mud. I shall take what is mine and make better Mud bricks!!!

the problem is that one faction is significantly more attractive than the other, until all racials get nerfed you can literally watch all the pvpers switch factions to whichever one is more OP every xpac. the only way to rid this problem is to erase racials…or nerf significantly…otherwise whichever side has the more powerful racials is going to have a significant majority of the players. I’m not saying everyone does that…but a pretty huge percentage.
They should just remove racials and that probably would’ve solved the problem… that plus character transfers to alliance only maybe

i agree that probably would have been the best fix to maintain balance…but then you would have all the thousands of ally who rerolled horde for the racials raising absolute hell lol

On my mains server, the pops were pretty much dead nuts equal. Now alliance is dead and I have no one to pvp against. No point in being on a pvp server with no opposite faction to duke it out with.

You’re not addressing a grievance, man. You’re just complaining.
The only change for you with same-faction Battlegrounds, is that you no longer have whatever bizarre, petty feeling of warmth you used to get from knowing that some other people were waiting in a Battleground queue for longer than you were. Your queues are no longer than they were before. You’re speaking of making it vastly harder for a lot of other people to play at all to punish them for playing the other faction from you. Are you truly so self-absorbed that that looks equivalent to you?
looks at arena ladders… thats equivalent to you? again the problem here is horde have about a dozen advantages and 1 dis advantage. the alliance had a dozen disadvantages and 1 single advantage…now ally have no advantages and horde have all advantages… balance lol
I suppose if you chant it enough times, it will become true…or at least that’s apparently what you’re counting on.
