Y u hate warlock blizz?

We were, specifically Diabolist Destro.
Diabolic Ritual is no longer reduced by 1 second per Soul Shard spent, but by 1 second per Soul Shard spender cast. Touch of Rancora makes it so Chaos Bolt retains its 2 second reduction, but Rain of Fire now only reduces it by 1 second down from its original 3 seconds.

I thought it was clear that we were talking about RTWF.

Again, for the god knows how many time at this point, I never once argued that they weren’t playable or viable, I argued they are mid pack, and are deserving of buffs, because they are, just like other mid-pack specs and lower. And they will receive them.

This argument is pointless. You’re cherry picking points. Arguing terrible stances like “but they’re insane on court.” And fabricating arguments that no one said.

No point in continuing. They’ll be buffed, likely with Tuesdays tuning, because they’re factually behind a bit. The buffs will bolster my point, and you agreeing or disagreeing means nothing.

This is the first mention of World First in relation to any replies directed my way.

You are factually, and demonstrably incorrect. GG hope you get your buffs

That’s super lame.

I swear any time specs get fun, Blizz comes in like an overbearing parent to make everyone stop having fun.

They could’ve just reduced the damage and left the fun gameplay loop intact

Thing is they already tuned it so using Rain of Fire to cycle Diabolic Ritual faster was worse output than standard ST with Chaos Bolt.
This change is attempting to fix something that has already been fixed by prior tuning and bug fixes.

Yup it’s a shame they fired him and he was one of the best devs left in blizzard before too.

Lol… One fight… One. Bottom spec in everything else including Mythics. 2 out of the 4 lowest performing dps spots for mythic is locks… We’re a pure dps spec. Unacceptable.

LoL

“The class/spec doesn’t suck. It’s that it doesn’t lend itself well to the current content” is like saying “my art doesn’t suck, you just have poor taste.”

But my art does suck…

Fixed it for you.

It’s not just warlocks, it tends to be ALL classes crying whenever they’re all in the relatively lower (or the straight up the lowest) tiers of their role.

If all of the specs of their class are in the C or D tier – I can sort of understand their frustration, given like others have pointed out: Their class may be far less favoured time to time when applying for invites. :person_shrugging:

unsub like me.

I can’t.

Expecting to be above average at all times in a dynamically balanced and unevenly designed game like WoW isn’t just silly, it’s willfully ignorant.

We get it, thats why you’re playing flavor of the month

Nah it’s above Aug

You bet, man. Just rolled this toon yesterday.

aug is different, clearly

I just wish they would make affliction feel a bit better single target. Phantom singularity is an AoE brought for a damage modifier. Feels like they should take the modifier and just bake it into haunt and then make haunt apply a dot.

Give affliction more sustained damage outside burst windows. But this would like require them to move phantom singularity into a choice node with haunt which wouldn’t be the worst.

Oblivion still worthless. Honestly shouldn’t cost soul shards

It’s not exactly about expectations solely … It’s perfectly fair & reasonable for someone to express frustration @ their class underperforming to the mass majority, especially considering the given would result in potentially being invited less over others — That’s hardly up for debate, as it happens literally all the time.

Dismissing the players emotions & expressed feelings when they’re the lowest tier class or insinuating their dismay is merely them having too high expectations or something along those lines – is what’s truly silly & established as outright willful ignorance or just plain naive hubris & broad arrogance.

Sure you’re going to have people that will milk it and are drama queens, naturally — but without any feedback at all, the game would ultimately descend into becoming terrible for the majority playerbase in the long run.

Feedback @ poor performance isn’t silly or willfully ignorant.

It’s normal.

Nah, Warlocks are pretty dumpster tier at the moment.

Two of our specs are doing Aug DPS and nobody plays Demo despite it being ahead on paper because it’s actively miserable to be a turret spec in the current season of “every swirlie one shots you” and the current iteration boss/dungeon designs require constant movement.

Like Destro and Aff are VERY well designed (Destro especially), but they just lack raw numbers. Demo needs to be revered to S3/S4 Dragonflight where Vilefiend and Tyrant were borderline useless and the spec had enough Demonic Cores to actually be somewhat mobile.

As usual in raids we’re hard carried by Gateway and Healthstones being a core component of basically any half-decent strategy on 90% of bosses. But in M+ our utility isn’t desirable and our damage is mediocre and just got worse with the change to Diabolist.

Every time warlocks complain, deduct one of their 50 billion customization options.
