Who cares? Not everything needs to be obtainable by everyone. Some of the rarest items in Retail and the hardest bosses have about the same rate. It gives people something to strive for.
And we KNOW Ulduar will get nerfed. SO it’s not like they won’t ever get to kill it. I’m just saying 2 weeks in is a little early to be making knee-jerk hotfixes.
People who realize that it doesn’t matter how many people are able to complete a thing. That’s not a metric which by something is determined good or bad. It’s often a good sign when fewer groups are able to achieve something as well as often a bad sign. Therefore, the amount of people achieving a specific thing has no relevance. Challenge is as important as anything in the discussion.
This is Classic. Obviously people aren’t playing this version of the game to test themselves against the most difficult challenges that even people who play this game for a living can’t beat.
Why is it too early? Many bosses in the most recent Mythic raid were nerfed within hours of the first groups getting to the boss. Some had their HP nerfed by 50% or more. If a boss has bad tuning, it’s a good thing to fix the tuning.
You suck blizzard, man I’m glad I quit this game and you guys at blizzard are bunch of yes men these poor little retail people who come to play classic always get their way. Like people can choose not to do HM but I’m glad I get to witness the downfall of one of the greatest games.
Bro… Why are you like this? I understand getting caught up in the moment, but I also truly believe that the trash you are sharing would make any Norma/rational person turn inside out from the extreme cringe they experience when going back and re reading this nonsense.
Yes, but when the top guilds, which are already doing +30% damage compared to the average/above average guilds can’t kill something strictly because of a year check, that means no amount of gear will make the fight doable for the rest of the players this phase.
Fights NEED to be killable by top guilds week 1 with virtually no gear if the normal players want a chance to beat it. I’m not really a fan of making content specifically for a small minority of raiders only.
This is complete nonsense. No they don’t need to be killable by top guilds week 1. Also, exclusivity due to difficulty is good and many who think the way you do are responsible for a large host of problems with modern gaming.
Antagonizing people definitely isn’t gas lighting, try again. Show me what “false narrative” I’m feeding.
I’ll wait.
Literally none of that is true, and its actually laughable.
I’ve been part of the LGBTQ community for 30 years and literally just attended a drag show this weekend. Reported, and try harder.
Those words have meaning. You throwing them around on the forums because you want to win an e-argument is HIGHLY offensive. You should be ashamed of yourself… but I’m guessing that’s not something you have the capacity for.
If the goal is that lesser guilds can ever kill them, yes, they do.
The dark souls developers don’t build their games to prevent the best players from doing level 1 speed runs.
If they made their games only beatable by those that were best in class WITH stat grinding layered on top of it, you’ve entered a level of exclusivity well beyond anything reasonable.
You just have to accept that when you build a group that’s fully optimized with a full stack of players better than 95%+ of everyone else, that no content should remain particularly difficult for you at that point.
Fights should be tuned so that the AVERAGE player can gear up to get over a wall. The players much better than them need to already be over that wall once mechanics are mastered because they already have the DPS advantage the gear is going to give everyone else.
The dark souls series does a good job of making stuff difficult without just having bosses one shot kill you because you didn’t kill them in an arbitrary time limit.
