Well, for me, the only way to report a player is to actually be near the player in the battleground. Thats how I see/click them, how about you? Also, I have an open armory that I quickly use to inspect before typing any report. I dont want to call attention to someone that is just a well geared leveler, it wastes everyones time. Frankly I am getting tired of reporting, its not fun, thats why I started this post in the first place. I am aware that twinks are the catchall for many negative reasons but I am an adult and for me this is not the case.

Reporting, Armory Shaming on Forums is not the way.
Learn to use the correct options for these “Bug” or “Hack” reports.

I need to get my Pickled Eggs working, and these forums are not the avenue.

There’s no way he’s been playing all day without leveling and there’s no way that his character is for leveling either.

Armory doesn’t update levels until someone logs off. Give it a day and look him up. And by log off I mean exit the game not sitting in bnet.

Yea and if he has been logged in all day, it won’t update on the armory. I’ve had days where I’m 10 levels higher than the armory shows.

There are twinks around abusing something (or Blizz ninja reverted changes). I encountered the one mentioned in this post today .

No, I’m pretty sure they didn’t revert. I haven’t personally been seeing anyone cheating though. I’ve been mostly in 10-19s though, so that could be why.

There are tickets, aren’t there? I haven’t had the need to report. I would be ticked too if I did see it though, since everyone else would like to play their toons too.

We can be sure they know how to do this.
The consistent pattern of besmirchment that follows these threads is clearly where the aim is directed IMO.
Links, Names, Armory etc. are all being released on a negative whim.
Feel free to have your own opinions, but for such a minor issue (two players?) there has been lots of slanderous claims being thrown around.
Innocent until proven guilty and all.

I recently learned that abusing this can result in an extra player for each twink bugging their queue.

I didn’t stick around because it felt dirty, but I definitely saw a couple of 49s with some hard to obtain items that probably aren’t passing through.

I’ve observed two of the people mentioned in that BG chat still at 49, and knowingly exploiting the bug without regard. So yep, definitely exists since I just saw them in ANOTHER bg where they won today. confirms multiple bg wins and no levels. I even chatted with them, and they didn’t particularly care about what they were doing and claimed it’s ‘not against tos’ where they also admitted their xp was off despite having just been in an xp-on bg.

And yes, I did use the right click report system AND the website to report player exploitation.(The web version of the e-mail people are handing out.)

Don’t let the people in this thread try to gaslight you. There is a very high likelihood that these people are using the exploit. We have a lot of concern trolls, salty twinks, and other miscreants trying to confuse people intentionally.

Posting threads like these are absolutely needed. Bring visibility to the problem as well as reporting in game. Too many people are trying to sweep this under the rug.

Learn to correctly report exploiters, I have been seeing 3+ miners insta-stealing my nodes lately too.

You realize things get changed when visibility increases right? Sure, you can report a few isolated cases here and there, but those are going to be individual actions against the account in question.

When things are spread around and people are doing it en-masse you have to change the root of the problem. Why do you think spreading awareness is a thing in so many places even outside of WoW?

Complains about shadow alts too.

When? I don’t think I’ve ever cared what toon people post on. That seems like a tactic a twink would do to call out someones gear…or lack-thereof.
