The challenge for the twinks they want to be respected as part of the community, then they go about doing what they’ve always done. This minority is actually bad for twinking in general, because the bad name they have, is made worse by these actions.
They think they are winning by this. It’s such a shame.
No one who condones cheating or exploiting has a legit response anyway.
Scripting has been a thing in this game for a long time, hopefully Blizzard is able to regulate them.
“Orc or Panda” cheating does not make it the races fault, no need to generalize.
With how easy it is to dominate Battlegrounds while leveling since 8.1.5 in our new shiny gears, no one needs to cheat IMO.
Outside of the same poster here, I have not noticed anything happening.
Thanks all for the great ideas. I don’t think some of the posters understand that this problem plagues the low level bgs especially 10-19 & 20-29. Just because you haven’t experienced twinks in xp-on bgs yourself doesn’t mean its not done. Anyway, I found another solution on a different website, they recommend to use Interface>Help>Report Bug. The “broken” Npc in this case is named Behsten Experience Eliminator on Alliance side, Slahtz on Horde.
This is hilarious to me. Staying in a pvp bracket longer than intended is suddenly an exploit again, even tho it wasnt from legion 2 years through the first half of bfa. cant wait to have blizzard, unmerge, then merge, kind of merge and un merge merge again every 2 years or so. It just makes you wonder, how often are these types of changes are going to stay, and then oh wait, pvp isn’t ok with expon/off merged again, oh and its because of the removal of stat templates. its so infurying to anyone planning on low lvl pvp forever. Then anyone who disagrees is like judging and stereotyping. all twinks are stupid and love gaining unfair advantages and smashing people. Do they stereotype people from the south as well? Might as well say that people from the south are intolerant, don’t know what year it is, and probably don’t know how to access a computer if they had access to it. i mean, good lord. The community in this game and the back and forth nature of changes like this is why i don’t low lvl pvp anymore. I loved experimenting with different moves and talents and playstyles at a certain bracket of pvp that i didn’t have in another bracket of pvp, but now i cant because of rediculous changes like this. Its unnerving to say the least.
Not many, but it does change things up slightly. Talents and abilities aren’t what they used to be, that’s for sure. it depends on the class, but some talents give you extra, non passive abilities to use. For example, you get a move on warriors called dragon’s roar at lvl 45 via talents. It was interesting playing at lvl 49 with that. It also reduces target speed by 50 percent. It also reduces movement speed by 50 percent to all targets within 12 yards. Its a pretty huge difference. I couldnt pvp slow people for the first 39 levels, so its nice to reinvent the playstyle. Add that move to the rotation, and it changes the way you pvp within those lvls. theres a move called ravager talent at lvl 100 that gives you a parry effect, but its nice to change it up a bit, even if it is minor.
I’m guessing they just got rekt by a geared leveler and instantly screamed “twink.” I have been seeing that a lot, but xp-off exploits not so much. People with good gear/enchants are just the boogeyman now I guess.
I’ve seen three “legacy” twinks in my BG levelling run so far but only once each. I guess you could write their name down and track win-counts on them over a week or two to confirm, but I just keep on trucking. Maybe I leveled through it too early before it became a big thing but I haven’t seen the same twink multiple times yet (or not one that had enough effect that notice)
Certain posters have no idea what they are talking about, again banal comments just to comment are not helpful or constructive. We cant call out other players in the forums though I have 6 twink names here on my desk, and thats just what Ive seen. Anyone with half a clue knows how to use the armory. These players have grandfathered and/or no longer obtainable items in their gear. Please refrain from commenting when you are clearly oblivious. They are not well geared levelers period. Spend some time on the twink website most everyone knows about and read how its done and whos doing it. Its like talking to a wall with some of you guys.
The Thousand- Year Egg does not proc until level 60, my testing on lower levels has just came up negative.
BOA trinket is a far better choice, but I guess as a free epic it may be a fair stat stick to those without options.
I will be sure to submit a detailed bug report in order to get this item back up to working order.
Epics should be working correctly IMO.
I queued into that wonderful event on as many characters as possible, many of which I have leveled.
It is an event item, which all of us who participated in had a good chance at getting. A useless Epic for lower levels, which needs to be fixed.
As for whoever was wearing it, it has nothing to do with my question.
My interest was in which items were considered unobtainable or grandfathered, OP etc.
8.1.5 has allowed everyone to obtain epics through questing etc, these new items are usually the best.
No, the Egg does not seem to proc for lower levels in combat.
The very old version of Tiger hunter gloves, the 12 agility to cloak enchant, the no longer obtainable brewfest trinkets I have two here but there are more. That egg. My point was, again, the people wearing these “no longer obtainable items” are not levelers but are in fact 29 twinks abusing the system. These pieces are status symbols. Im tired of quibbling, Ill post on the other website, the one that laughs at players that have no clue and such lets them get away with their shenanigans.
lol they just will chew me alive for caring,
One last thing, now the rage with lower level twinks is to stack a level 20 with the best gear/enchants they can get their hands on ( whole sets from WC etc) and are subsequently unsubbing. I would be very curious the number and total of the lost revenue for Blizzard. There is a popular community channel where players share information for all free to plays f2p’s (the permanent free lvl 20 toon) and paid subscription players that are unsubbing and playing their made 20’s, called vets.
Someone is going to say “they have been around forever” and yes thats true but what hasnt been around forever is this current total of paying subscriptions to the game.
