then maybe he should have stated ptr and not "after 7.3.5"

Or yknow you could just be a little less desperate about splitting hairs.

wouldnt be hairs to be split if people stuck to facts not exaggerations now would there?

enjoy your evening, im done here.
Heirloom stat nerf.
Mob HP buff by 300%.
Extra 60% required to level from 1-60.
RaF nerf.
Removal of Elixir of Rapid Minds.
Now this. I just tested Bloodmaul Slag Mines again. 300 exp per mob kill while rested, but... I'm supposed to be coaxed back because they "fixed" the LFG aspect of it?

Get off it. Doubling down like this is bull!@#$. I'm well on my way to getting a refund for BfA - which you CAN do, so save it fanboys. I'll gladly incur a frozen Battlenet account, because this !@#$ is ridiculous.

Blizz has done everything they possibly could to break my desire to play this game.

I will!

Enjoy uh.. whatever it is that rigid people lacking even a basic sense of humor do in their spare time?
Like the RAF change to change the XP bonus from +200% XP to +50% XP... I'd like to refer you to a particular three word statement that Jim Raynor says in SC I's New Gettysburg mission briefing. I think it sums up my opinion on this quite well.

Go on. Watch it. I'll wait.

Right, just like how you've mentioned that you're constantly monitoring performance for class balance...

Well said, if you people were really "keeping a close eye on the pacing of the leveling experience in 7.3.5 and beyond" you would stop trying to force us to endure your old, terrible questing content, we don't want this slower leveling pace save that bs for the people who want the vanilla classic servers. Stop ramming it down the throat of the current playerbase. If you can't tell from the responses on this thread the people who liked the slow xp and bloated mob health pools seem to be disappearing which I'm going to assume is due to them getting further into the leveling grind and finding out just how tedious is truly has become.

So completing a random dungeon at lvl45 awards ~30k exp for completion + the 15k you get for killing the bosses.

That's not significant or worth bothering with. Still.

Hi all,

From WoW’s earliest days, we’ve always had to take steps to limit experience gains for characters when grouped with someone of a drastically higher level. We recently became aware of a bug introduced in 7.3.5: a side-effect of the vastly expanded creature scaling was causing the logic to break when awarding XP in some situations. Earlier today, we applied a hotfix to creature experience that corrects this issue.

At the same time, we have significantly increased the experience awarded through queuing for random Normal dungeons from Classic through Draenor content. Running dungeons at the appropriate should feel rewarding, whether as a complement to or even an complete alternative to questing.

As always, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to keep a close eye on the pacing of the leveling experience in 7.3.5 and beyond.

Yea I’m real sure you guys sure realized people were leveling too fast due to a “bug” so you nerfed it. Anyone with half a brain can see you guys are following the path of Bungie and are getting greedy. Your intent is to make leveling as slow as possible to lure new and veteran players into buying a character boost. You guys can stop trying to mask your decision by saying it’s because of a bug, or it’s because we want players to experience older content while leveling. We all know it’s to increase sales from character boosts. 10 years I’ve been playing this game and I cannot believe you guys are going down this path.

Or they're actually playing the game instead of sitting in this vacuu-- er thread complaining about it..
This leveling became a !@#$. Fortunately I was able to leveling my Highmountain Tauren at Legion points before the fix, if not I certainly would require refound BfA.

Can we please have alternate options for earning the heritage armor? Challenging options in current content would be ideal.

No, because it's a reward for levelling, not current content.
This is a s@#$show... obviously.

if you appreciate our feedback so much then why didn't you fix the old raid issue when it was on ptr? Bunch of people told you how broken it was and yet you still let it go through to live.

(Note: I know they "fixed" the issue, but that is beside the fact that they didn't listen)

stop fixing things that are not broken!

Anyone got some numbers on the queue exp increase? I'm feeling really doubtful on it actually being significant.

EDIT: Dungeon Bonus on my 32 Shaman is 22400. I need 85600 to level. 26.16% per dungeon. I don't know what it was before.

So that feedback you want?

I came back to WoW in 7.3.5 after leaving during TOS. I decided to roll alliance on a PVE realm after spending a lot of time on Emerald Dream.

I've leveled a DK to 110 and a monk to 101. It was not too bad. I had a 90 boost I used on a rogue who is 110. I powerleveled a Shadow Priest with this "broken logic." Whenever my friends were not online to power level me, I quested with my priest because I thought it might be the class for me for this raid tier and I wanted that heritage armor.

At first, I was a firm believer in this patch. I honestly enjoyed leveling being more of an immersive experience and praised it quite a lot to all of my friends. If there is a way, you can look at my account, you'll see that the same 3 guys I always play with when a new expansion is released are playing again because I praised it so much. We all liked it aside from one guy. Here's the thing though blizz. We've re-experienced WoW leveling and that was great because it was broken before. It WAS great..... once. It's not fun anymore, at all. I am all for making heirlooms earned somehow by doing things level appropriate and appreciating the game for what it is. In fact, I would put forth that the vast majority of players playing today did not have a good leveling experience due to everything being one-shottable for so long.

In my eyes, you have to find a happy medium. I know in the designers hearts (not the financial guys who obviously want to sell more boosts) they want people to experience the world that has been carved out in the past decade. I wanted to and I did. Now I don't want to do it again. I propose new heirloom gear much like the Heritage armor. If you slog through this new leveling, you get a trinket with super exp gains or something.

with power lvling method took me 12 hrs to hit 110 from 20. i lvled a friend. and my own lvling experiance with quest was 49 hrs.

We recently became aware of a bug introduced in 7.3.5

"Recently"... Hmm... How long has this game been out? Oh right, 13 years. I have over nines level 100s on my account and have done those zones from the vanilla zones to the legion ones, over and over again... I practically have every heirloom upgraded to level 110 to level alts at a fast pace, only to have it drop to about 2-4 levels per hour when it was 6 levels or more levels about every 10 minutes just off of dungeons (not counting que times)...

Why now? It's clear you're trying to slow down leveling for everyone, but wouldn't it make sense to increase it for those new players due to the artifact weapon appearances that will not be available once Battle for Azeroth hits?

Why aren't things being listed on the hotfixes like they should be? Don't want the player base to find out? Honestly, people have been playing for years, and this dungeon "bug" has never been a problem.

Refound? And you're really gonna refund an entire xpac over subraces?
So... I'm trying to figure out how this nerf is helping in any way at all...

I mean, I've leveled alts back in WotLK and Cata, and they were quick to be lvl capped, carry in dungeons or not...

Not, it feels like I'm crawling along the xp track, dungeon or not...

Blizz, don't fix what isn't broken. Address the correct issues: People doing this were doing it for alts. Spending 70$ on a 110 boost is lucrative for you guys, but Joe Everybody wants to have their alts lvl capped 2 weeks ago without forking out an extra 70$, and you basically middle fingered Joe Everybody right there...

Yep, you missed the point of their post. They were "pointing out" how the people who actually like the system are becoming less present in the thread, of which I pointed out the obvious, or at least I thought it was obvious til you quoted me.

The people that don't actually mind it aren't in the thread because they are, gasp, actually playing the game.

And yes, complaining, just, complaining.
