Xal’atath catching Sylvanas’ hands and scurrying off is what I needed.
Finally, something worth tuning in for; I can’t breath right now. I almost died watching this cinematic. Sylvanas still beating these tricks down; I love it.

OMG, the Dark Lady stay watching over us! There’s so much to notice here, I’m digging the Warchief Vol’jin quote, the slow Jason walk toward Xal(lmao), like she did to ole boy on Icecrown. She was about to wreak her ish.

I’m not sure what happened with the dialogue direction this cinematic, but Vereesa and Sylvanas both talked like Captain Kirk at times.
The pauses between certain words and phrases just felt off.

I’m glad we got to see her, I guess, but I still think the overall cinematic is pretty weak. If they’re still going to do the whole “Void afraid of Death” thing then it’s well past time they gave us more detail on why.
Her continued insistence that the Shadowlands is fake mostly feels like a distraction. What does that have to do with what’s going on now? It’s not even new information, SL literally ended with us storming the factory where their stupid fake gods were manufactured. Of course it’s fake!
You have to give us a peek behind the curtain to keep interest up, you can’t just keep pointing at the curtain and saying “Yep, that’s a curtain all right.”

Sylvanas and literally no one else on Azeroth was a match for the Lich King at that time. She was betrayed by someone that wasn’t even in her ranks, so don’t pretend as if she was catastrophically bad at her job. She was to slow the LK while sending word back to Silvermoon so they could be prepared. Are you serious? What would the great Benediktion would have done with Death on his doorstep?

Classic case of aura farming gone wrong. It’s the leading cause of death amongst Elven archers age 26 - 3,134. I blame that damn Orlando Bloom. Just made Legolas look too cool in those movies and now every knife ear that can hit the broadside of a barn is trying to do backflips while shooting.

I interpreted that as “stay tuned for Last Titan when you’ll quest with Sylvanas through Icecrown to learn the titans ordered the Shadowlands because Titans Bad!”
But yeah agreed it doesn’t seem relevant at all to what’s currently going on and also Blizzard needs to learn that mysteries need clues you can’t just string people along in the dark forever. That was a huge part of why the Jailer sucked. Xal’atath’s plans have the same issue.

The only good thing about her in the cinematic is she get to scurry back into the Maw and not bother us for the rest of this expansion. Also, that cinematic is clearly giving a red flag on Sylvanas finally getting her well deserved final death.

Blizz is signaling the last expansion and a transition from wow to WC4 RTS.
Even your cheeky jest, suggest no way in hell they’re going that route.
There is next to zero chance we are getting a Warcraft 4 rts. Ignoring the fact the RTS is a dying genre assuming Blizzard wanted to make a new RTS, they would sooner make a Starcraft 3 RTS considering its massive popularity.

I can see this as an actual story beat for TLT. Hopefully they fix the issue with the dramatic pauses, otherwise dialogue audio is staying off for TLT as well.
Nostalgia for WC3 (Read as: For when we were younger). That’s literally it.
Jailer sucked because everything he “planned” was just a giant retcon that ruined WC as a setting. And to me, Xal’atath’s plan is most like “I’m going to eat Azeroth’s World Soul and be uber-powerful to the point where I can devour the other Void Lords/Void Gods or whatever they are called”
