I wonder if it was hubris then? I get the impression she is always keeping an eye on us. Maybe she doesn’t think what we are doing is a real threat. I’m sure we will have a better idea by the end of the expansion if she manages to cause some disaster leading to the invasion for Midnight. Everything now is just a pleasant distraction.

Radiant Song on Azeroth emanating from a giant totally-not-naaru-crystal that is increasingly and unpredictably shifting into a Void state. Also: void creatures spawn when in said Void state.
Yeah, the end of this expansion has to end in some major disaster like Dimensius’ return. It would explain why our actions are so insignificant to her.
Although she did seem bothered by Alleria damaging the Dark Heart.
The prophecy of the Emerald Dawn which mentions the Crooked Serpent with no Eyes which combined with Il’gynoth’s prophecy of the Blind Queen wielding a Staff of Bone which combined with A Song of the Depths speaking of the Dark Heart(which was filled with Galakrond’s Necrotic Death) being taken by Azshara would suggest that the Emerald Dawn is the Crooked Serpent Azshara(now Blind and corrupted with Necrotic Death) corrupting Beledar to Necromantic Death.
Beledar falling to Necrotic Death means that it can’t be the source of the Void invasion during Midnight therefore Xal’atath will simply ditch Beledar and let Azshara instigate her own plan to claim the World Soul while preparing the massive Void Invasion during Midnight as she instigates a plan to claim the Void-tainted Crystals(Kul Tiras, Zandalar and Darkshore) to use them to corrupt the World Soul.
Alleria damaging the Dark Heart(which should have already been counted as broken) means Azshara tricked her(by suggesting it was abandoned because it was broken when in reality it wasn’t just flawed) in order to gain power herself and become the Big Bad of War Within so of course Xal’atath is bitter about this!
Azshara never had the Dark Heart and I don’t think she ever knew about it. It was in Aberrus since before Azshara was born until Iridikron took it in Dragonflight. He then proceeded to give it to Xal’atath.
