With the obvious exceptions of “furries”, feet fetishists are the weirdest.
idk im pretty wierd.
Xal is going to be like “I’m the the most vile creature in Azeroth.”
Then some male paladin is going to ask to suck on her toes and she’ll get so disgusted and just leave.
(Really though, someone at Blizzard made that choice that this lady isn’t wearing shoes. It was an objective choice…)

xal’atath defeat when alleria asks if she can smell/lick/see her feet. GAME OVER MAN.
Honestly though, from a marketting perspective — Simply having Xal’atath be barefoot was a wise play …
Why?
Because people:
- Talk about it
- Meme about it
- Rage about it
- Joke about it
- Laugh about it
etc … Ultimately it goes down towards the concept of – “Any attention is GOOD attention”
Free advertising towards the expansion created by the fan base, simply sparked from showing animated feet? 
Sounds like a pretty-good-done tactic deal to me 
I can’t, won’t and never will understand how and why some people are attracted to feet…
Eck.
Blizz just needs to sell xal’atath feet statues. Think of the savings on not even needing to manufacture the whole character.
