Wyrmrest, a question

Ah gotcha. That’s the one where Robin Williams voices the cross-dressing bat to be with his kids. Thanky.

Worst part about that description is it’s not fundamentally wrong.

Kuvira is hands down my favourite Legend of Korra villain.

Which is saying a great deal because Zaheer is also fantastic.

Worry not, good friend Sarestha, for while I stan Kuvira, I am not in any way saying she did nothing wrong. In fact the reason she is wonderful is because of the wrong that she did, yet that being so understandable and reasoned.

TLDR Lawful Evil makes the best villains.

d… does anime count

I love Dragonball Z and My Hero Academia

Avatar is cool too though, never could get into Korra however.

King of the Hill is the best anime.

The thing there is it’s not the same guy. Optimus Primal is 3d show only, and in the Japanese version he’s called Beast Convoy, as Convoy is the name they use to denote the good guy leader in Japanese transformers shows. II has Lio Convoy, Neo has Big Convoy.

In these shows their respective crews are on different earth-like planets, but they aren’t, like, direct sequels or anything. That honor goes to Beast Machines, a show that flopped a bit because it was way too cerebral for a bunch of ten year olds that just wanted to watch robots punch each other after school.

And for us older fans (Teens on up when the show aired), it flopped because it completely dunked on every character that Beast Wars had built upon. Nobody even remotely resembled who they used to be personality-wise.

It’s like…why even bother using those characters at all if you aren’t even going to try and have their personalities somewhat sync up? Only one they did semi-right was Silverbolt, and even then his depression for being a Vehicon makes no sense since it’s not like he helped Megatron take over the planet.

I mean, I guess it flopped for a variety of reasons. Black Arachnia was basically Tyrande, running around all, "SILVERBOLT MY LOVE WHERE ARE YOU "

Sweet theme song though.

The only objectively correct answer to that question is “Azula”

AtlA is the best, for sure.

Legend of Korra had a lot of potential, and every time it was able to deliver, it was fantastic.

But I don’t know when I’ve watched a series get shafted by the network so consistently and for so long. It was like they kept it around just to make it suffer, and then Korra and Asami weren’t even allowed to kiss.

anyway, Kyoshi is canonically bi. thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Toph is perfect.

Favorite animated show is still Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I just love all the characters so much. Specially King Bradley.

But it did lead to the greatest line of the series, when she accidentally assumes Thrust is Silverbolt, bringing Waspinator out and Waspinator is crushed to find our that he and Arachnia are not, in his words, “going steady?”

Oh God, I thought I was the only one who remembered those actually existed.

do you know how hard it is to find them on DVD sets

Yeah, to clarify I meant the “Kuvira did nothing wrong” types when I did the :zipper_mouth_face: face, because of the obvious Third Reich parallels haha. As a villain, Kuvira is probably my favourite too (it’d be a toss up between her and Zaheer) , and lawful evil is definitely the best evil.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood as well as the whole Fullmetal Alchemist Series. I pretty much love all the characters even the Villains who are Awesome. Except for that guy who turned his daughter into a Monster. That Father Character is a Jerk.
