He does things other than PvP. He has literally 100 max level alts and he’ll queue thousands of arena games at the end of the season. He just doesn’t queue right now because he doesn’t want people to see a bunch of games at 2200. Foxman also plays on check pvp hidden toons. I’ve ran into them.
I mean I like my approach of a below average amount of time played for considerably above average results but if somebody wants to play 2,000 games to barely get Duelist that’s entirely on them. I hope that they’re having fun because in the end that’s what it’s all about.
900 games to get Strategist? That’s pretty good for somebody who just started like six years ago or something.

Look at yesterday when I first mentioned he spends 16 hours a day on the forums and his response was “I’m raiding” as if that makes it any better.

Yeah but raiding at 9pm EST vs actually playing the game at 2pm on a Tuesday is different (idk what his time zone is). Like do you actually know he’s playing in the middle of the day every day

Okay, so, this is generally worthwhile at high mmr but at like 2500-2700 or w/e just play whenever. No sense in ruining sleep until you’re really up there.

There’s not much to do because keys/blitz/arena/raid are all evening.

I did q a lot but it was more like 1100 rounds. Had a mid season spiral. The difference is I have legend every ssn of shuffle so far and a r1 legend title and the people calling me bad have been lower than me for quite a few seasons in a row.
I have 7 mounts and a title I don’t care lol there’s nothing for me to prove.
Even though I’ve checked myself out of any kind of race that might be going on I’m confident that if we revisit this conversation next season I’ll have a gladiator and legend achievement and these guys will have an elite mark.
It’s how it’s gone the last like 8 years

I mean, even if it’s balanced, I’d say Enhance has an argument for worst DPS spec in the history of the game, beat out maybe only by Frost DK.
Enhance was good in the earlier iteration of WoW but since MoP hasn’t really been good at all. Sure it’s had its brief moments, and 90% of those moments it’s forced to play with warrior, with no comp diversity what so ever.
Enhance is weird in the same way frost is weird, in that it’s entire identity has always been this weird schtik where it would just absolutely global someone, then not do much in between. It was like this in BC and Wrath, MoP, and for a brief time with doom winds chain harvest as well in SL, early DF with ascendance was broken AF too.
When your specs entire identity is randomly one shotting you in a small window of time, without doing much in between, it becomes really hard to balance, it’s either gross and broken or useless, much like Frost DK.
Something like warrior is always more consistently playable becasue even when it’s not one shotting someone, it has great uptime, MS and consistent damage.
I don’t presume to know what the answer to the problem enhance has is, or how to make it better, by any means. But this is just the reality.

I’ve got very little arenas played this season. I bought all the honour gear and queued up, I was tossed into a 2k MMR lobby first up. Most notable issues for me were,
Mobility, easily kited, hard to close gaps, just spent the entire time slow walking everywhere.
Still susceptible to every form of cc. Being silenced as a melee and having to sit on your hands feels bad, followed immediately by being disarmed and having to again sit on your hands feels bad.
Having one of our core mechanics and required spells for damage (flame shock) instantaneously removed, with no real recourse feels bad.
Our survivability is just so bad. We have no real oh-crap button and our self healing requires us to have constant up time.
I’m going to get full gear as resto, than give it another proper shot and see how I go, but right now it feels bad and just overly clunky.
