FWIW, we have been having this conversation for as long as BGs have been in Classic (and I imagine it was happening for as long as RBGs didn’t exist in Retail before that).
While I don’t share your opinion, at the end of the day, I think it’s just that. I have a preference and you have a preference, and they are different. And that’s OK.
There’s no convincing each other that the other’s preference is inherently better. However, I can point out that the exact things you’re asking for exist in the Retail system, and you can point out that you don’t want to play Retail any more than I do.

Is the argument that there aren’t really many premades? If so then there is little risk of affecting anything by making premades queue into premades. So you support this, right?

My argument stands on its own regardless of who I am or what you think of me. I don’t care much about premades, but if premades argue they only want to fight each other, as you claimed, then they would support a premade queue.
And when someone told you exactly that, you support this then? You backpedaled. That is a bluff. I don’t care who you are or your credentials. You backpedaled.
Sure there is. Nobody wants to wait hours to play with their friends.
Socialize should always > non-socialize. Socialize always, always, ALWAYS must win and be better. You should never, ever say “I’m going to drop group because I want to play the game”. That’s death of community.
Now, okay, maybe you say there’s some additional weighting towards matching players, but if I’m in a 10-man and the game can’t find a 10-man, then too bad so bad to the Andies who refuse to say “LFG PVP” but they’re now going to be fodder for our group. PvP Premades should generally always be considered the better option to queuing by yourself.

I’ve always wanted a competitive premade system. RBGs was a big hope of mine for sod.
Most people like you who complain about these kinds of things from my experience are extremely bad at pvp anyways.
