Bro we had wsg and ab before pvp change because premades were not prevalent. There literally isn’t any reason for pugs to face premades. Besides for premades griefing pugs. All the pugs will either quit the game or go to av only when it comes out. Then you will be stuck premade vs premade and wsg and ab will be dead. All the people defending this mark my words. Enjoyed your only bg AV. Cya in av
Because they are forced to, or they get GY camped.
Most would prefer to solo queue, or with 1 or 2 friends
I’ll be 14 the second it isn’t gatekept so I dont really care what the meta is later. The large group of pvp players on both factions will organize games if need be.
I don’t really care what they do they can add a solo q or whatever that’s fine. But these noobs drooling for the removal of grouping up for pvp I’d argue are a loud minority and anti social in general.
Being able to form groups for pvp is a key part of server growth for the future
Nah dude, you have a 100% bad take and are in the ultra tryhard minority.
Do you have any proof for “most people”? Any real evidence?
Your opinion is noted but nothing changes.
There’s almost 100 wsg up at peak hours.
Join a premade or don’t. That’s your option rn
Alright, just in case anyone is confused about what this topic is about:
“Premades should fight premades, solos should fight solos”.
Now, this is a good idea actually. DOTA 2 does this. Queue as a group of 5? Enemy is always a group of 5. Group of 3? Enemy is always a group of 3.
There is no excuse why WoW doesn’t do this. It is healthy for DOTA 2, it can be healthy for WoW.
Just because everything else OP said is wrong doesn’t make that point incorrect.
That’d be cool.
I believe they tried this before and it didn’t work too good but you can run it this route:
10 mans seed to 10 mans.
If time passes and there are none, they seed to 9, then 8, 7 and so on.
You do have to keep the qs flowing in that regard as a 7 man or 4 man is not as common as a 5 or 10 man for example.
That way all players still stay synced on a global level and the playerbase isn’t fracturing the qs into a billion different corridors
If the 10 man has to wait too long then under this format they may decide to drop a player or two at the time they’re playing to speed up q
No you don’t. Certain numbers of party sizes are functionally banned from queueing. In dota you cannot queue as 4 for example.
Dota is a lot different from wow. If you ban group sizes you default the global value to solo q over time once the BGs start slowing down
Because that might work while there’s 100 games up, but not when there’s 6-7.
How are people supposed to know what group size they’re supposed to be in with less than 10 games up?
All you do is create 10 different global ques. And nobody knows what size they need to be queing as because it’s going to constantly be changing
I solo queue’d to friendly at 19, would not advise.
Alliance would run me over because they’d have at least five working together at a given time, I’d always assume a group of friends in a premade.
I enjoy solo play too but you’re always gonna be disadvantaged to folks playing with friends and/or guild.
So, i join a premade to beat these folks lol, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
If comms makes such a big difference, why don’t people use the built-in voice chat?
Personally, I’m of the opinion that there is no benefit from splitting BGs into multiple different types. We have ranked BGs only in Classic. If you want to form a team, you can. If you want to solo queue, you can.
The op is correct. I’m already glad I haven’t renewed my year long sub that ends in January, and I’m so glad I haven’t purchased another Blizzard expansion, no Blizzcon bags, no classic or retail pre-orders, because it always comes back to the community being horrible and ruining the fun in Blizzard games. It happened in era and it happened in wotlk classic, and now again in SoD.
There should be a solo queue or honor bonus for solo queuing, but I won’t hold my breath.
I had one day of fun in SoD WSG, and history repeats itself. It’s awful again, and not worth playing.
Also, the streamers laughing about killing the Ashenvale boss multiple times on multiple layers is cringe. Thank you for making it easy for me to save my money.
Let’s see here…$30 for Blizzcon goodies, $80 for Cata Clasic, $90 for Retail Expansion, $160 for yearly sub… WOO!!! You all saved me some monies! Thank you! Thank you!
Queue systems are functionally the same. Hence, they are the same game. Don’t argue semantics with me either, it is the exact same thing.
It’s not dude.
If you have a group of 7 players qued up for wsg and there’s 5 games open what happens if they’re the only 7 man queing. It’s not “the same”
What if there’s a 9 man queing but the only groups queing are solo people 2 4 mans and a 5 man?
It is dude.
“It is. The end” is not an explanation or demonstration of what happens on wow under your que system of “7 man q only” with no other 7 man queing
idk if I’m reading the tone correctly here, but it feels as if one of you is being facetious and the other is being serious.
Exactly, you’re wrong, you can stop.
You don’t know wtf you’re talking about.
You say “7 man ques only into 7 man”
What happens when there’s no 7 mans?
Do they have to add or subtract someone to “fish for a q that isn’t closed”
