The other night I was FC in WSG, the Alli rushed us and suddenly the game ended mid-flight. They also had our flag. I didn’t die, I didn’t vanish, couldn’t stealth because I was in combat. It was 2-1 Alli.
It has been driving me crazy. The only thing I can think of is this scenario, which I can’t find a definite answer on whether it is possible in Classic or not. Some say yes and some say it was patched out but not when.
They had pallies and priests. We had wiped them twice on our roof. The last time, they rushed us, and mid-fight the game just ended. I assume they planned this out:
The EFC was waiting on flag.
They engaged us and while we were busy, a priest and pally MCed me and then cast BoP to make me drop flag.
They were expecting it to happen so they snagged dropped flag before any of us realized what happened.
Game over.
Is this possible? Is there another explanation? I am going nuts trying to figure out how I dropped it without dying or vanishing.
