Wrongfully Banned, 10min from server shutdown on Wednesday

I’m self-employed, I use StockToTrade. Scans stocks and news. I’ve had it on my device for over 3years and have been playing. Never has it been an issue. Only time it runs is when I manually open it and decide to trade during the weekdays

No cheat engines

Thank you for the correction.

that portion has to be ruled out as only 1 acct was banned and i used them on occasions of 2 separate monitors and reduced resolution to fit both onto 1 monitor with click over for focus on both

2/15 – I ran RAM diagnostic for possible faulty hardware for the possibility of my hardware creating a memory issue when playing, finished with no problems.

Also ran NordVPN Diagnostic and submitted the file on a ticket in light of human eyes review. Following, enabling split-tunneling as to not have an encryption between IP and Blizzard (Battle.net / WoW Clients)

I was banned on 13th february friday afternoon, very similar situation, “Hacking”.
Spent the whole launch since 5th barely sleeping and playing 16hours+ daily, 1 character in 1 account only.
Got an automatic reply in my appeal and then in a ticket GM Rikobidu barely gave me any attention.
Very frustated since then, lost a level 70 character in the current pre-BiS raid gear for P1 of TBC.

TEMPLATED reply. A real live person selected the appropriate one about the status of your appeal, and that real live person sent it to you. It’s not automatic, nor is it a bot (I know you didn’t say bot, but often “automatic” is used in correlation of “bot”).

Now, a question for you. Was your account made with your legal information? Your legal nale, you up-to-date address and such?

Your only recourse is appeal ticket. Ticketing a GM will not help you. There is no conversation, nor will they be able to give you more information as to what was detected (that’s info that the bad actors really want to have).

For context, my own gameplay was very efficiency-focused. I spent long stretches dungeon spamming day in and day out with minimal downtime. I wasn’t botting or automating, but I was playing in a highly repetitive and optimized way as a tank/heal duo with 3 rotating pugs from lfg. I hit 70 on the 9th at night or 10th on the early morning hours.

I prepped 5 60s during the length of vanilla anniversary. My paladin, the toon I leveled first so I can mindlessly farm LBRS and Start for raw gold to help fund my 2nd toon warrior, had 6 pieces of t2 and 2.5 shoulders. I played paladin for a Lil the first tbc classic, before quitting and prioritizing my hourly job back then, so I knew mostly what I was able to handle pull-wise in dungeons while leveling. Doing identical pull nearly every run 16-33min SP runs depending if they were full or 200k-250k xp/hr prio and the 3 pugged dps players were like.

Yes, my account is all real information. Made back at about the end of original cataclysm in 2011 or 2012 idk, being a regular player since then with active subscription since forever.

Looks like this was sent on for further review, Gpr, but that can take a bit.

If there is a change in status, they’ll let you know.

Looks like you have an appeal open, Xalxixinhaad.

Thank you for the update. Has the investigation been escalated to a senior specialist for further review? Additionally, I noticed the most recent ticket in regards to the issue has the Action button for “reopen” button but won’t allow me to submit a new statement, so I appreciate any additional context you can provide here

US107875889 → US107899068 → US107934621

It has, Gpr, but it has not come back yet.

Yes opened appeal two times and it got closed two times on semi-automatic ctrl-c ctrl-v replies and the latter blocked my ability to open a 3rd appeal.

Appeal 1 US107919869 → Appeal 2 US107980215 .

I sincerely can’t even start to explain how frustrated I am right now, there’s so many friends saying so many different things to me.
The one that bothers me the most is I am hearing I should just give up on the case and create a new account, but why would I do that and spend hundred following into thousands of hours on something in a new account and risk that this just happens again without further assistance and all is lost again?
Am I flipping a coin here, I don’t get it.
Craziest thing I’ve heard is I can’t use Opera GX as a browser while playing WoW. Now how do I confirm this kind of information if all I get from Tickets are automatic replies or check out this article that has nothing to do with what you just asked sort of thing.
In fact I just found out from 2 years ago, I had to open two tickets on a WoW issue before someone actually helping me out because the first one I opened the GM just randomly threw some Call of Duty reply on my WoW ticket, It is crazy. (I was going to insert an image here but it doesn’t allow to)

The replies I get from GMs in the tickets are vague and it looks like none of them are really trying to help otherwise they wouldn’t have just mark the case as resolved and put an end to it like that.

There’s millions of bots open in the world you can find them at all times in many different locations, you can clearly see their gameplay is botted, they are probably getting banned for sure but then that is just like a Hydra-thing, why would they care right? They are probably making their profit back so they multiple again and keep on going.

Now I am here with my only account begging on forums to be treated properly, multiple years played into my account and I can’t get a single GM to correctly review the case.
I refuse to believe someone is actually reviewing it and just coming to the conclusion I am botting/hacking, there must be some log/footage, I don’t know of some sort that can clearly YELL OUT that I am manually controlling every single action done on my character, going through multiple cities, multiple dungeons, multiple quest attunes, multiple auction house posts, multiple hours online with barely no sleep.

Bot would have just bought another 100 accounts by now and be running them right

Im gona be blunt your yelling at a wall nothing u said matters 100% here nothing u said will matter blizzards not gona belive u blizzards not gona tell u what was detected. If u cant apeal then its over.

Yes, I feel like I should have accepted it at this point.
But what now? *Pay for another subscription/account? Roll the dice into just getting another unjustified ban?

If the appeals are closed and the system is no longer allowing another one, that means the case has been reviewed and finalised. That isn’t something that can be overridden on the forums.

Appeal responses use templates. That does not mean they are automated or that no one looked at it. The template is just the delivery format. The decision itself is based on Blizzard’s own internal logs and they will not provide the specific data they used. They never have since bot makers would love to get their hands on that.

As for Opera or other browser, the browser you are using is irrelevant. Simply having a browser open does not cause account actions. Speculation from third-parties tends to make situations like this worse as it’s not what actually happens.

If no further appeals are possible, that would be it for appeals. The forums cannot escalate it.

If you have something on your system that the Warden has detected and hacks team investigated to take action, how the action taken unjustified.

You are responsible for everything you have on your computer, and making sure there is nothing running that should not be running.

Idk?
Been through Cataclysm, MoP, WoD, Legion, BfA, Shadowlands, played the heart out of Dragonflight and War Within in High Level 0.1% content, played through first classic burning crusade, first classic wrath of the lich king.
I literally spent about the last 9-10 months of my life playing world of warcraft every day, how come a ban for unauthorized programs hit just now?
Makes no sense.

If you cannot determine what on your system got ya popped, reset it.

It was clear enough on their end for at least 3 GMs to say justified.

Also, you should start your own thread and not highjack the OPs.

Good luck moving forward.
