Writing and Dialogue still corny

I just sat through some terrible dialogue in a cutscene in which Faerin spouts ridiculousness such as ‘we are the holders of hope’ WHAT LOL… and then proceeds to gush about hope and turns back the lights on with hope… Okay can I just get someone to cast a spell? Or someone to turn a wrench??

and then “Courage is our greatest weapon” as you walked away.

I like it. WoW is always meant to be exaggerated and corny. Not everything needs to be about hyperrealism and being dark edgy and serious

That was edgelord cringe though. tad bit different. WoW is a T rated game after all, but SL, DF this writing all feel like I’m watching a barney cartoon in the 90s. Love hope friendship, rinse repeat.
