Where was this opinion for Vanilla and TBC classic, when any changes were rabidly disapproved of?
Its hard to find food throughout the world but not impossible, but people still die of hunger.
Are you equating a video game matchmaking to world hunger? Dramatic much?
For some it is impossible to get food. Ignorant much?
Well, that really is the problem though isn’t?
The WotLK client was 3.x. The latest WoW client is 9.x
The server code and client code differences between the two versions have a huge change in infrastructure.
Durning WotLK they went down the patch of cross realm. Now they have phasing and layering.
Classic has layering but no phasing or cross realm.
This change alone, like the change or not, has a ripple effect. RDF was built around cross realm. To have RDF without cross realm would turn it into something much different than what it was.
Bliz is making the choice to use the new LFG tool instead of using cross realm.
This is only one example of how changes must be made, for better or worse. The 3.x client and server will NEVER come back. Too many optimizations and security improvements.
The world of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” doesn’t exist. There are too many layers to that cake, and it looks like you are only focusing on the icing.
Just making a comparison with your failed logic.
You’re just being a dramatic whiner. Sorry you’re incapable of simple grouping.
Oh I see, I just need to make groups appear out of thin air…oh wait RDF helped that problem. Thank you for supporting RDF finally.
Never said I make them out of thing air. I’m just not a child expecting my hand to be held to play with everyone else.
Effort and patience. That’s all you need to make a group.
There are a finite number of people willing to jump into an MMO. Many did so during TBC apparently, but Wrath was able to keep and add to that.
Then they all started to leave. Blizzard is trying to find ways to stop that.
Sweet all I need is effort and patience…no more need to look for a tank, healer, or dps! Problem solved everyone, we can close the forums now. This dude has all the useful answers!
Why are you incapable?
Effort to find the group, patience to wait until people are willing.
They left in Cata because Cata was awful in comparison.
Transfers don’t fix the problems of low population realms. Realm connections do. If the myopic playerbase could gain just an ounce of clarity they could realize that instead of campagining for non-soltions they should be holding Blizzard accountable for their lax attitude towards addressing server population concerns.
Cata had big features that were from the end of WotLK. RDF being one of those. Where did LFR get it roots from?
Unfortunately that causes other issues in the PvE scene.
How long do I wait before that time is wasted? How does making the game more accessible to the player base sound so terrible to you. I am incapable of understanding how you believe this, you are either very ignorant or a troll.
Patience. You don’t have it do you?
Could be 1 minute, could be 1 hour. Being patient is a virtue.
Care to elaborate on that?
Not really. There’s plenty of other post that explain why Cross realm isn’t good for the game.
Cross realm isnt realm connections. Realm connections are permanent links “merges” between the connected realms.
