Well the problem with that is that no one would ever join the servers that don’t have RDF. They would literally be on a dead server. Everyone wants RDF and they know it. They just want to force everyone else to play the way they want.

Nah the only way you can get them through is a weekly where you are awarded one. However you can pay 10 dollars for 100 stones of finding that for every 20 you turn in with the weekly quest you get 1 additional RDF entrance.

The sad thing is, I would pay a fee for it too, a good sum of us would.
I love WoW Classic but I don’t have the time to be waiting like this
for a dungeon. I don’t wanna go to Retail I waited 2 years for this feature since Classic (I joined 2 years ago).

That’s exactly why I posed the question like that. They can’t argue with it. There is no argument against it at that point.
Whoever went to the retail team and said to the developers that they have to start listening to community feedback, needs to go into classic team and do the exact same thing.
The majority of your community wants the RFD, imagine another company and what would happen if they refused to listen to the costumers, how long could they get away with it before getting fired honestly.
The LFG tool being pushed by the team is literally like conduit energy in Shadowlands.
Nobody wants it, and I feel like its also being made to make people level slower and add in unlimited boosts to increase revenue.
It is depressing that I even have these
suspicions to begin with but to me it fits the image of Blizzard today sadly…

Ironically blizzard by both not including LFD and forcing everyone to use the LFG Tool to even use the LFG chat channel.

But why THAT change
If you for example can only kill first boss on heroic and realize that after the fact, you’re stuck with a lockout with one boss down and can’t drop down to normal for rest of bosses… that’s bad
Why not just convert the zone to dynamic difficulty like ICC where you can drop down to normal instead of continuing to make that zone 4 lockouts, but saying “if you do x you can’t do y”.
Dynamic lockout, like ICC, makes far more sense.
IE, two lockoust, 10 and 25, but a difficulty toggle inside zone. can’t kill each boss twice or farm zone 4 lockouts, but don’t lose out on normal modes if you get stuck on heroic.

You literally have to add yourself to the tool to get access to the LFG channel. So yea, they are forcing you to use it lol.

This only solves the problems for the players that want to reroll to the opposite faction (or to an another race).
But lot of people will reroll to a new class. As far as I know there’s no “class change” service in WoW.
Account-wide mounts and pets would be a much better option in my opinion. There is really no downside to this feature. I’m pretty sure all mount/pet collectors would love this change.
Besides that, the Reawakened Phase-Hunter is already kinda account-wide (and I guess the new Wrath Digital Deluxe mount will be too).
Making all mounts and pets account-wide would be a big QoL improvement, it would make mount/pet farming more flexible.
And with this feature people wouldn’t roll on the mounts with their 16th alts (because it’s not enough for them to already have those mounts on 15 characters).

I’ve been addicted to this game since vanilla. I’ve played every expansion, some more then others.
I’ve been subbed and consistantly playing since day 1 of classic.
I DO NOT WANT RDF. IT IS TOXIC FOR THE OVERALL HEALTH OF THIS GAME.
