Pretty much my plan. All BoEs are mine. Not inviting any other plate users or melee. Once I have the dungeon gear I’ll start selling spots.

You’re going to be sitting there in queue with all the other plate wearers, who are also all queued as tank, waiting for a healer to come by so you can get some DPS to join you.

Finding DPS will be no issue. I don’t need a tank or a healer. I have and will be playing both roles as I have done through classic and TBC. Quite a lucrative set up and very easy to set up the healer on a laptop.
I suppose if you are Pally healing, you’ll have your pick of the litter. I guess you’ll be looking for a Druid tank? and 3 DPS who will role against you for your healing gear, or I guess you will just being going Druid tank + 3x hunters only parties?
Prot paladin and holy paladin. Master loot. Easy profit.
Oh dam guys, why didn’t we think of this? Can’t find members to form a group? Well why don’t you just find them then? Such a simple fix… Can’t believe none of us asking for RDF didn’t think of his earlier. Thanks for solving the issue.

I met my wife in a dungeon group. So I would disagree with you, and say that friendships do form in dungeon groups.

funny, i also met your wife in a dungeon group. was a good friendship we shared.
But I thought the point of an MMO was to play with new people and constantly make new friends. Wouldn’t this be limiting yourself to a small pool of players which is contrary to the point of an MMO?
This will happen without RDF except there is no penalty for it.
This isn’t a factor on mega servers either.
No I purposefully chose to be on one because I wanted to have a player pool to be able to access content.
And so did the majority of the player base who chose to create and transfer to mega servers lol.
The last expansion of retail I played was Wrath and it had RDF. I am trying to get back to the Wrath that I loved, not this watered down version.
I would be ok with this as well. I would level to 80 and then cancel my sub until ICC came out.
Which is why I will not run any dungeons outside my guild. If I can’t get my guild to do them then I will just q for BGs where I can be automatically match made into a cross-realm instance and magically teleported all while sitting in a city.
Scrap it and add RDF back in.
The guild I rolled with in Classic had this mentality of a close knit community and they were very strict on who they let into the guild and refused to raid with any PUGs. You know what happened? Our guild never progressed passed Molten Core and the guild ended up falling apart early in TBCC.
My favorite response … I’d rather just go out in the world and do solo content. I can join GDKPs as a pure buyer these days, make a couple min bids on items, and soak up all the badges I need.
This hasn’t happened in TBCC and those heroics are far harder than WOTLK heroics lol.
Why do I have to be willing to make and lead a group just to enjoy the games content?
With their stance on removing RDF I will maintain mine. I will chat in party chat and I will always wait for my summons.
So since you have had the best of time since 2019 that must mean everyone else has had the same experience?

2 people flying in a straight line over the world while the other 3 sit in the city waiting for a summons…so immersive…

We are starting on patch 3.4, we are already passed patch 3.3.
I used server discord to find my guild because the fairy tale of socialization in classic dungeons has happened since halfway thru classic and certainly not in TBCC.

you can’t force people into friendship.
I’d be ok with this too and would also cancel until then. If I make it to 80 before then. I level slowly, even with +50% XP…LOL
I’ve been doing that since classic came out. I did try though. SAD can get difficult sometimes.
Or keep both. Then both sides have the chance to be happy.

I am extremely happy faction change will be added. Thank you for that. However i am worried because you mentioned it may not be added at launch? I was planning on leveling with my friends that are on opposite faction. Is there a chance you guys can have it ready for pre patch or launch, and if not what’s the timeline looking at. Before phase 1 raid? or like phase two? ANY feedback would help tremendously on this topic. Thank you blizzard for your continued commitment
Can we get a rough timeline expectation for when race/faction change are avail? I’m sure many people are going to want to have some characters swapped over and start playing with friends at the start of a new expansion and not fall behind while waiting around for the faction change. Does “a later patch” mean a month after launch or does that mean like Ulduar patch?
Also, 70 boosts for prepatch?
You seem very concerned about getting kicked from a dungeon group.

So instead you would rather not do any dungeons at all from 15 to max and still not socialize with anyone. You are not rhe brightest are you now. And if you say there is no socializing in rdf, you havent done it or you are just a liar.
Enjoy the few servers this game dwindles into. Have fun not running dungeons at low levels. Lol.
