It’s like I’m a celebrity or something.

And we both have Bloom in our names! :scream:

I knew it! Just like Scooby Doo!

Hi, just checking in again to remind you to put in RDF at least at some point during the expansion, thanks!

Which is precisely why they won’t make mounts, pets, and achievements account-wide. You want certain pets, mounts and achievements on alts, you’ll need to keep grinding away at $15 per month.

Oh well, there’s no chance now that I’ll continue on with alts like I did back in the original days. More than likely my end game will be raid logging until I can’t justify the subscription money, then that’ll be the end for me. I’m not a fan of retail either.

Not just you. They’ve crafted Wrath Classic as nothing but a raid log game.

In a lot of people’s, and Blizzard’s opinion yes.

Are they wrong? No. It’s an opinion and people have different opinions on a lot of subjects.

This whole LFD debate there is no right or wrong answer. It’s about what you value more.

And in the current case, those of us who value that convenience and time saving are being denied, and now mocked on the forums when they try to express why they want RDF to be a thing. (great social experience, by the way)

If the option existed for both preferences, then I would agree with ‘it’s about what you value more,’ but that’s not the current state of affairs.

You really like your 1 line “got ya” comments.

If you are not happy with a product, then why do you keep using it?

I’m not for or against RFD. But I understand where both sides of the argument are coming from.

You can dislike the fact that Target doesn’t sell car audio and still shop there. A single aspect you don’t agree with doesn’t have to invalidate the entire experience.

Can confirm bloomsday is a hive mind.

And yet a lot of people are currently walking through target complaining to everyone that they dont sell car audio…

If everyone remains silent and complacent, nothing changes.

If a product or company you like has changed in a way that you don’t enjoy, ‘if you don’t like it, don’t buy it’ isn’t always acceptable. There are times, yes, but wouldn’t you rather see that product or company you like improve instead?

Thats the thing though its an improvement to you. To another person it is damaging to the game.

Maybe because RDF/LFG isn’t all WoW has to offer?

Maybe you’re just not a social person but people tend to talk in dungeons, especially while leveling. I’ve got tons of memories of special/random social interactions from back during wotlk and a lot of it was from pugging raids. A dungeon is how I found the guild I ran with up until MoP.
Try talking to people??

Gating and the never-ending grind in the later XPacs is exactly what causes me to unsub. So it’s funny that Blizzard introduces these changes to make me play longer, but it causes my gameplay to suffer to the point where it’s not fun to play, so I quit, thus making the change backfire on Blizzard. I love playing alts, and the finite grind we have in the first few XPacs, where my main can raid log is what made the game fun for me.

I never dropped my sub from Vanilla all the way through MoP. WoD made the changes that felt like they were dragging the content out to the point where it was no longer fun. I didn’t feel like I could shelf my main outside of raid nights, and that’s the first time I dropped my sub. I’m hoping they don’t make the same mistakes with all their changes to Classic.

Pretty much this, Blizzard fixed “RDF” in Retail by removing any and all incentives to run Heroics.

Blizzard: “We heard you guys like to run heroics to farm game content…we fixed that by removing all rewards from dungeons and moved them to world quest, enjoy”

So, a normal night TBC dungeon running.

Going by the Beta, tanks are a dime a dozen as well. Sometimes I look in queue and everyone waiting has tank spec listed. Tanking heroics is pretty fun with all the changes in Wrath. Healers are the gatekeepers now. Curious how many of these Anti-RDF folks are tanks who think they will get instant invites as Tanks. I’m guessing they’ll be joining our bandwagon pretty quick after Wrath launches.

I get the exact same same amount of socializing in RDF as I get in LFG. I don’t know what you guys are smoking, but it’s the same people you are playing with regardless of what tool is used. It’s not like Blizzard has separated RDF folks and LFG folks so if you use the LFG tool you’ll never be grouped with those nasty RDF’ers. It’s literally the same people. And in either tool I’m normally the only one doing any talking, and few years of using LFG in Classic, I have made exactly 0 life-long friends so far. So again, not sure what you are Blizzard are on right now, but it must be some good stuff, because I’m not seeing any of that happen in the game.
