Sure, but I feel like there’s a better way to solve it than to punish the entire community for what a few people are doing.

I don’t know, because I don’t know what exactly the reason for the restriction is. I’m not a dev and I don’t know how the game works behind the interface, but if I had that information I would be able to make informed suggestions. I also did post some ideas, such as placing the mail limitations on players under a certain level, and warning players about trades for wrapped items. Gambling or not, I don’t understand the reason for not allowing players to add wrapped items to the guild bank.
It’s also not my job to come up with a better solution, although I’d be happy to help with that.
I would definitely like to see these policies revisited. It’s rather unfortunate that we are now able to do so much exclusively in game now without the help of outside programs or addons such as Discord or Curse Client or even streaming features, and including in game purchases and funding game time with in game currencies, but cannot celebrate holidays by providing guild events with sometimes IRL friends as well, with secret santa events or simply by sending a bunch of folks gifts in game instead of IRL. It’s kind of silly. I see the reasons why, and see the benefits of what it’s done for the communities, but it would be nice to see the systems in place revisited and maybe reconstructed to allow for these things to happen and maybe to block those who have had past offenses (of this nature) on their accounts/IPs (and whatever they use to permaban people) from using these sorts of features. I’m not sure if it’s possible, but I guess I can be hopeful.

I feel like their first reaction to something bad is to just stop everyone from doing a fun thing. I don’t know why these changes were made, and I don’t even know where to find that information, but this isn’t the first time something fun was taken away when it could have been modified in a way that wouldn’t impact the players.

Try sending it on alts perhaps? I think the restrictions are silly, yeah. But an alt could possibly work… unless it’s bound by account. In which case, yikes.

It’s definitely bound by account, I couldn’t mail things to my alts, and my alts couldn’t mail things to anyone. I couldn’t even finish banking because one of my alts had to mail my banker stuff. So I just had to log out and wait for it to end. I have no idea how long the lock lasts
