These would be more useful if they had links to released Hotfix Notes and mentioned standard upcoming in-game events (i.e. darkmoon fair and noblegarden).
I miss pvp so much, but every time I give it a shot I’m just slapped in the face with how much of a dumpster fire it is

Can Blizzard give up on PvP already? It’s been dead for 16 years and you know no one wants to play it. The only time anyone does is when you dangle a carrot to entice people to go after the carrot then they quit after they get it.
and like there black lous fix it just isn’t working
Is this BG pvp event for classic or ratail? The announcement was not specific, I asked on Twitch, nobody knows, in trade, nobody knows.

For some reason, I thought this was a post about the anniversary event from late last year and was about to complain about the thread being necro’d.

The problem is the same, everyone says “it seems” but no one says it’s certain lol…The first event also seemed to be from the classic so I missed it due to the poor advertising. Now I want to be sure

As far as I know, classic has no rank restrictions…Retail has rank restrictions. So the ad would point to retail and not classic. Honor in retail has a bonus on the weekend… which points to retail as well.
Is there any GM here?

If you follow the main link it goes to the classic 20th anniversary event server so while i might be wrong i dont think i am. Regarding honor, they capped honor rank advancement to gatekeep it. Rank 14 is the highest pvp rank in og vanilla so im guessing this is the final phase for rank unlocks. They did a similar thing with sod with phases, iirc you couldn’t go over rank 3 in p1, rank 5 or 6 in p2, etc.
I don’t know about honor rank gatekeeping in retail like that. How do you mean?

I believe that now with this link…it really seems to be an event for classic…OK…event for classic… yikes…30 thousand people play classic…heheheh…very important.
