Yes, WatcherDev, you might get trolled. Every dev does. Bungie had to literally sit there and watch people spam “PLAGIERISM WILL MAKE ME GOD” in their twitch stream.
You have mods that are able to control the flow of discourse. Use them.

WoW devs have always been absolutely terrified of communicating directly with their playerbase. For what reasons, I couldn’t tell you. Even their friends down the hall in Diablo land will communicate directly so I don’t get it.
Like you said, other developers don’t seem to have this issue, including when they are getting trolled relentlessly. FF14 has been doing Live Letters since before ARR came out and never stopped, they were even doing them during covid lol.

Honestly, if they can’t be bothered to care enough about the state of their own game then I won’t either.
Promoting a video that only uses Alliance races, a “Season” where the M+ crowd has hit their seasonal goals not days, but hours after the content is released, and another Twitch drop for players to watch WoW streams, but too bad the RWF is essentially over until next week so what’s there to tune into?
