This was the idea I had for “WoW 2"” (still workshopping the name). “Copy” all level cap characters to an Azeroth 20 years in the future, where all the zones are mended, and there is a bigger world, where cities are cross faction and small villages are now small towns and forts. Race/Class/Faction unlocks, unless you use Warmode, and then you are flagged in zones for the “opposite” faction. Then folks who want to experience the original retail can, meanwhile, level cap copies are now LvL1 and bring EVERYTHING with them except their level, and start a brand new adventure on a brand new Azeroth.
Exiles Reach marathons you through your first ten levels, explains almost nothing, and then dumps you on Stormwind where you’ll get bombarded with three different breadcrumb quests for three different expansions. Go watch Day9 playing it to get an idea.
And by ‘literally everything’ you’re actually whinging that they pointed out you feel qualified to talk about content you refuse to run.

Don’t know who some sensationalized streamer is spreading misinformation, but when I just did it a couple of weeks ago, I was taken to Stormwind, shown around all of the important places and then given the intro quest for Dragonflight.
Maybe play the game instead of watching a bunch of sensationalism.

95% of my WoW time since DF has been doing old content. Old content is way more fun then M Plus, Raiding or spamming trade chat for work orders.
