i want to buy gold legally pls
And I want to sell mine to you…
Legally.
Nah hard pass
At this point yeah, I understand the reasons not to but its pretty clear everyone is buying gold already anyway. I know blizzard are aware of just how bad it is, probably more aware than us, and I’d wager a token is on the horizon. Also while you’re at it - let us make horde and alliance on the same server already (pls)
Only the scrubs. Some people can play without crutches.
See… this is a tough one for me. On one hand I’d prefer to keep store items away from TBC… and LK if they go there.
HOWEVER… I’d also love to “transfer” some of my retail WoW gold to TBC. So…
you want to buy legally…
so you can do stuff with it, illegally…
For better or worse, it is coming. What kills me are the naysayers and/or elitists that say it will “ruin the game/economy”, knowing full well that players are buying and selling it illegally anway. The economy is already wrecked. I would rather players be allowed to buy it legally to cut down, even if only slightly, gold sellling sites.
People have been saying this for 6 months.
Doesn’t make it less true, I think its coming whether we like it or not.
The same people who claimed it was coming also believe it was true. Kinda like idiots who told us all cities on the coast of all continents would be under 2 feet of water by the year 2000.
You really made the leap that I think the cities are sinking based on WoW? You deserve a gold medal for those mental gymnastics.
Not really. There are idiots out there who believe that anything they claim is the “truth” because they simply believe themselves smarter or superior to others, whether morally or intellectually.
Time tends to prove such idiots wrong in any case.
Here we go with the other side of this that people are ignoring. Tokens are sold by players who, like you, invested the time to sell your gold (legallly via tokens). People only think about the buyers with it. Thanks for the refreshing answer.
Yeah we need it, open world farming is broken unless you like the sheerng of fishing and that wo make you rich, I’d rather spend $20 for gold to raid for the week I get paid more than that for my job and it means I can raidlog which is far more fun than having to fish or farm scholomance for runes to afford raiding pots
The token does not belong in tbc or any classic wow and neither do you if you want to offer blizard more money as a reward for negligence by not making changes to the gold acquisition systems in the game itself. They control every aspect of the game and can easily implement fixes to put more gold in players hands.
I’m for the WoW Token. I am also for Blizzard banning more bots and increasing herb, mining nodes and increase spawn rate of certain elementals for primal farming by legit players. I’d also be for Blizzard bringing forward the Mark of the Illidari into Phase2 for flasks. Seeing as Blizzard wants to do minimal work on Anniversary, I think the WoW Token is more plausible. But there is not enough of an uproar by the community for Blizzard to take action. It seems only something of the level like the dungeon/boosting change outrage was enough for them to respond.
Your too late now, farmers are not coming back to anniversary after this Classic + news. So quit crying about no tanks and high consume prices too. They are playing Panda and retail and no reason to farm a game with an ending date.
You’re seriously underestimating how desperate the Asian farmers are.
I agree here that there are things they could do like BOA flying costs or just increase the gold given for quests, and lower the costs of things like mounts and training skills. Especially since this is a much shorter time table than original the cost to get flying on alts when you already put in the work on a main char is silly. Granted inflating the gold rewards, and lowering costs will inflate the market for the people hording gold but at least those who are genuinly playing will be able to acquire skills and mounts for main and alt characters without having to resort to farming mechanisms to enjoy the game.
