should just be a set price. 250k sounds about right.
easy enough to make that much to buy tokens for game time…not so little that its not worth the IRL $$$ paid for it.

Any day a dragon has to take gold out of their hoard is a bad day.
I think the price of a wow token has nothing to do with how many anyone else buys and sells, I think one day Blizz decided to sell gold to players and came up with a way to do it where they would not look like the bad guy.
How could they possibly know that your token is going to sell on the AH between 2 and 12 hours?
Blizz is just selling you gold, none of the token/ah thing and how prices are set can be proven at all, we just choose to believe it. I would rather just go to a vendor and buy 250K gold for $20 cash.

I disagree. I’ve seen on several occassions where there are no tokens to buy off the AH. That alone shows there’s a supply/demand factor at play here.
It’s very likely they have the data on when a token is listed and when it is sold. There is no wizardry necessary for this.
They’re selling a product (the WoW token) and advertising it in the way we “choose to believe.” Unless you have evidence to the contrary, there is no reason to believe that anything else is happening.
More people buy the higher the price is, the less people buy the less the price is lol… supply and demand , the prices of the token is not random lol

isn’t there a limit on how many can be purchased per account at a time per year?
I think its 7 a week
thought it was 24 per 2 year period.
nah last i heard it was 7 tokens a week i think
when did they change it? it used to be something like 24 per 1-2 yr period.
