REDUCE the size of the battle.net launcher windows so you see almost nothing
Turn off all notification
Auto Start + Minimized launcher on OS boot.
Auto Minimize battle.net on WoW start.
Create WoW shortcut from launcher
Click your wow shortcut, it open,
Press PLAY

Note: sometimes the ads dont even have the time to load lol!!

create a …\World of Warcraft_retail_\Wow.exe or \World of Warcraft_classic_\Wow.exe shortcut and you can uninstall this battle.net launcher after.

You could uninstall the launcher but then you won’t get updates and eventually you’ll stop seeing server lists because your client is not updated.
Just deal with the launcher lol…

The classic Launchers advertising of retail wow has made me want to try again retail. I ended up deciding to the the plunge to buy shadowlands and try it out! Im playing now shadowlands more than classic and im really loving it… OUT OF SEASON APRIL FOOLS!!!

I like the launcher fine. It seems to be more optimized, bigger, better, everything.

For mobile maybe, we play WoW on a computer tho.

My computer forced a restart last night. Where are my Settings so I can get rid of this visually obnoxious ‘chat-bubble’ effect and back to the text-on-background that’s much easier on my eyes? I don’t like change for the sake of change that I can’t customize or even provide feedback on.

Yeah the new launcher is basically worse in every single way.

Bigger
Uglier
Ease of use seems to have decreased
And seems to lag my system by constantly loading videos.

But I’m sure some clown in the accounting department got a raise for suggesting it be all of those things because it soaks up more eyeballs on ads time.

It’s “millennial better”. That’s when you “fix” something that isn’t broken and make it worse, generally in every way. Like the new FB.
