Looks better for investors if they can show how much the servers are up. Been like that for years. The server status page is absolutely useless and pointless.
If servers are down or inaccessible, then the ‘status’ should reflect that. Because that is the ‘status’. It is a server ‘status’ page. If nobody can log onto them and play the game, the status should not be green and online, it should be yellow and ‘under maintenance’. That will also allow for better/accurate tracking of the ‘actual’ downtimes and maintenance windows.
If you know that page is useless why are you complaining it’s not working…
You might be confused? I didn’t make this post. I simply made a comment to someone else about a page that is useless. I didn’t say I go check it every day, because I already know it’s useless. Any further questions?

That page is useless and doesn’t give any useful information. Maintenance doesn’t mean the realm will be down and it just repeats the messages we get in the app anyway. It also never announce anything beside the weekly maintenance.
I hate that there is no other way for me to know if I can log in or not than by logging in every 5 minutes.
There should be a live status page like so many other games have and there is no excuse for Blizz not to have one.
