Yeah, that’s how ever-evolving games with updates works. lol
PVP has never been less popular.
Well then, it’s a good thing that all their failed experimentation, especially trying to make old failed mechanics and system work if they just try harder, has resulted in massive growth in PvP, right?
Or maybe they could hire someone with experience in PvP to lead the program. Successful experience.
yeah pvp is not very popular.
ive been doing strictly pvp for a long time now and i mean… maybe 5-10 bgs open on a good day?
maybe 20 games listed at HYPE TIMES a mix of 2’s and 3’s and about 85% of them are at 2400 rating and wont take anyone under 2400
50% of the playerbase used to queue for bgs during Wrath.
took it long enough. not sad to see it go.
honor grind is the best, we can que for regular and not-rated content and have fun with the game until conquest. then its rated pvp or bust.
WoW PvP has supposedly been dead since Classic, yet there are still plenty of players enjoying it.
elaborate on plenty lol
it’s been literally the same people at the top of the ladder for almost 15 years.
Sometimes changes work, sometimes they don’t. That’s why many games are, as stated above, “ever-evolving”. This isn’t a difficult concept. It’s also very unlikely that a major revamp would happen mid expansion.
if they’d stop listening to the vocal minority of the player-base and their temper tantrums positive changes would probably happen.
Sounds like a ‘git gud’ and learn to play issue then.
It’s always been dead, it was never a big thing, other than the odd alt gank revenge war in like SS/TM pvp has been w/e
I don’t really care how “popular” it is, given enough players.
I care if it’s fun and if gearing is fine.
It checks both boxes right now.
The fact is that it’s never been better, for unrated BG players at least, which is the PvP that matters to me.
Not anymore. Thanks to weeklies and BG BLitz.
I have four max level chars capped on conquest already without playing a single rated match of anything.
Get on with the times.
No one cares about “the ladder”.
If WoW lacks something, PvE and PVP, it’s platforming.
It plays way too much like a 2D game when it could be utilizing the third dimension much better, especially in battlegrounds.
Most content should appeal to most people. Insularity is usually the classic indicator of a community in decline.
I don’t care if it’s in decline.
Like, 50 players still play Guilty Gear Xrd.
It’s still the best fighting game out there by far.
Mass appeal does not matter to me.
You mean like RTS ? But this is an mmo lol
I’m playing SoD for some world PvP in Ashenvale.
Don’t touch WSG though- premades have ruined it for the most part, it’s kinda a dead mode, people just use it to farm rep, not for actual PvP.
SoD is the final gasp of air, and I’m likely putting WoW down lol, the devs don’t put in enough for PvP, so I’m just gonna play a game that does.
They’ve always treated PvP as a mini-game, not worth paying for WoW if that’s all you do.
Absolutely no to being a MOBA.
I did nothing except PvP up until late BFA, PvP is the only reason I still play wow lmao. It sure isn’t the bs dungeon and raids they put in.
