I am bored with getting gear in all patches. I want only play and do not want be worried about my gear or my team.
Gearing is fine, but many time do we have to do the same.
I understand that it part of RPG, but I do not have time for it. I want to play wow when I have time and do not be killed by over gear players.
And this is where I think scaling ilvl within instanced pvp will solve that.
You just queue up, enter the BG and everyone is at the same gear lvl 259 as if you all acquired the best honor gear.
The secondary stats on your current gear will scale up.
This will allow customisation for a heavy haste build if you wanted to.

Your ilvl 100 quest weapon will scale up to ilvl 259 - the current highest honor rank upgrade.
ilvl 100 weapons has
100 stam
100 main stat agi/str or int
40 haste
20 crit
scale it to 259
and now it’s
259 stam
259 main stat
103 haste
51 crit
say if you wanted to customise your gear for more haste and vers and you find an ilvl 95 weapon
95 stam
95 main stat
25 haste
25 vers
scale that up to ilvl 259
now you have
259 stam
259 maint stat
77 haste
77 vers
or just go in with whatever you’re wearing.

NO GRINDING.
No gear acquisition every patch. Just PVP. But as a by-product of your PVPing, you’re accruing honor which you can use to purchase PVP gear for use outside of instanced pvp.
As an RPG you’re still progressing as you’re purchasing and upgrding your honor set to be stronger outside of instanced PVP.
Just in instanced PVP, it doesn’t matter, just your secondary stats if you want to customise your build.
The overwhelming majority wanted equal gear or two sets that are best in pvp and very close on power to each other
A tiny tiny minority like the current system, some of whom use it for real money income and some who are always high enough rated that it doesn’t affect them much either way and/or they like having a huge advantage
FYI the vast majority of pvp players already quit and can’t respond
yeah most here seem to want a fair play system with equal stats both sides so there is nothing but skills and strategies determining winner and yes using the right classes to compliment each other is also a strategy. They can give unique cool mogs mounts pets ect… for winning like getting the mythic raid mount for raiding. also currency for wins. Also rated pvp is ranked and if you are good you will want to see how high you can get. There are many other reasons people pvp then just getting a new ilvl. most lvl gear in dungeons or raids before doing it anyway.
