What truth are you omitting? I accept that I like this game and like to play it. I also accept that there are small brains out there that just want to cause problems, for…reasons. You shouldn’t let a game trigger you so hard…

… I don’t know why were talking about WoW as a cartoon game, i don’t think any person have a problem with that, maybe you do considering you’re the one who bought it up. Also i and Kaurmine asked you to give us real sources that isn’t MMOpop, Superdata or things like that with extremely questionable data collecting that you can’t even prove to us that is reliable…

Can they innovate it to be a game that doesn’t look/feel like garbage? It just always felt super clunky and dirty to me. Grimdawn at least felt/played more fluid.
Neither holds a candle to Diablo3 though. Guess that also applies to WoW too. Whatever your thoughts on the core of the games themselves, their gameplay is polished as all get out and fluid. You can think it’s a polished turd, and that’s okay. But it is most definitely polished. Blizzard has always done a great job with the feel of gameplay.
It’s been awhile though, maybe I’ll install PoE over the weekend and see, but I doubt they’ve changed the actual engine/assets much at all in the last few years. Not saying PoE is a horrible game, just personally didn’t like the feel of it.
Any game who needs to say they are the king… is no true king.
It still has the dated feel and super zoomed in camera you remember from before, but the desync is gone, the game plays straight through very nicely no more recycling of content three times over. POE2 on the horizon seeks to make skill gems more interesting and fun ect.
Keep in mind, POE has been adding a new content activity with each season, at least 3 a year since like 2018. So it has a metric boatload of fun stuff that can randomly appear from those older seasons, some of which is more than clicking something and having mobs spawn but literal content behind it. All the past content appears through out normal play so all the cool stuff from the past can appear at random.

Every season new stuff…still…at an insane pace. All the while blizzard released ZERO content for D3.
Its now so far ahead of diablo on an innovation level the only thing stopping it from totally killing diablo is a high end engine and better combat feel. Thats it. Diablo is struggling to reinvent runes…thats how far apart the two are now. POE has pretty much addressed every ARPG issue it had, and came up with some cool solution thats fun to play.
Even the trading and orbs have been sorted with crafting to supplement problems getting gear with stuff you want on it. It has player housing too…good player housing…
Right now, Square Enix is looking a lot like GGG in relation to blizzard on the mmorpg stage. If endwalkers is even close to as good as shadowbringers its going to be two epically good expansions for FFXIV and a sign they know what they are doing more than blizzard in relation to its playerbase. That will be a first for WOW.

Eh, unless PoE can succeed at all levels, I don’t think I would say it’s a better game personally. The underlying systems maybe, but if the gameplay itself is substandard that’s still shackling the game as a whole. It’s like D3 looks and feels great, but is kind of shallow under that.
It’s like FF. They don’t seem to innovate or adapt or change things. They just throw out the same things over and over, which to some may be a plus. But I have zero desire to have the same game-loop over and over and over and over and over. I also found the underlying game to feel “bad” when I played back in the day. Things like clunky UI I couldn’t use addons to fix, to clunky mechanics for dialog/quests, to invisible walls everywhere, and the constant loading screens. Like the underlying systems may be “better” but playing it didn’t feel that way to me.
I think at this point FF’s biggest plus is being WoW for people who think they don’t want to play WoW. Or starting to feel like a coordinated campaign via streamers honestly. Which would be rather clever really.
Maybe I’ll reinstall PoE, but this reminds me I never played Torchlight 3. I might give that a go, though I recall it wasn’t well received.
Weird. WoW is still the #1 mmo on the market and most active subs. Soooo how are they still not the King? FFXIV is #4 fyi LMAO.

That is split between THREE versions of the game and of those three versions each version is split into two factions. Such a fragmented player base isn’t really much to brag about.

It is not healthy for anyone to just staying doing the same, stuff if they already hate it.
Taking breaks an playing other things is a good option too. But if you are having fun wow, like me, go for it

i just want shadowlands over. i been playing FF for long time as well as wow don’t really care who is on top as long as both have a decent amount of people playing ain’t another mmo out there thats even worth picking up. all the dumb weeb comments stuff like that races talk trying to act like wow is better is quite funny. when men drool over female draenei people think female dwarves are sexy lol and tauren cow rp in goldshire come on how can you talk about any other game.

To be fair the majority aren’t delusional. They’ve either quit or know WoW us crap now, the minority are those delusional fee who pretend it’s good.
