This you?
Hmm. Rage bait, yeah. Sorry your disposition is so lousy you need to rely on this sort of thing for entertainment. It’s pathetic.
Have a good one.

Nothing hostile at all. You ask a question and you don’t seem to like the answers you’re getting because they don’t match your opinions. ![]()
Hey you are the one trying to bring up subjects that are taboo in the forum rules. Not me.
You’d think these people would find at least ONE acceptable answer in the 50 versions of this topic.
Every person has their own opinions on any topic possible. Most people can have a civilized conversation. A few people are intolerant of others opinions.
All the words say is “a cooldown separate from your regular Hearthstone” - which means if you use your normal Hearth you can still use your house hearth. That doesn’t automatically equate to it being a longer cd.
You just answered your own question. We can close the topic.
Making threats now?
You really want people roleplaying in WOW. Their subscriptions and shop purchases help make the game as a whole profitable. If there are fewer players, there is less income and less development… And yes there will come a time when things get more scaled back than they already have been.
You shouldn’t really what people do in the game as long as everyone keeps paying their $12.99 (or more) per month.
Again, the thing you quoted relates to the exterior look of the house, as in its walls, roof, etc. Not the garden. Please, concentrate.
Check out this video:
Special WoW Midnight Housing Showcase @ GamesCom 2025 | Esfand Live 8/20/2025
At 53m in the dev talks about what can be done in the outside areas. There is zero indication of any restrictive placement anymore than there is inside the house. They have repeatedly talked about loosening the method of decoration in player housing and there would be zero reason to have it one way inside the home and another way outside.
I’m not going to keep beating my head against the wall of your refusal to accept logic. Until you can come up with somewhere where they have said the garden area will only permit placing something in one specific spot. Which you won’t be able to, because they’ve never even hinted at that.
People can do in the game whatever they want. I just mentioned something I found odd?
BTW, protip, you can link to a specific part of a Youtube video by adding the time at the end of the URL, e.g. &t=52m9s or if there isn’t a ? in the URL already then ?t=52m9s.
e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-7Yx_B0K1U&t=52m9s
They are still pretty vague. Until I see a video of them having free form placement of outdoor items, I’m going to assume it’s fixed placements to avoid disappointment
OK, you do you. I post and comment here a lot and now and then I’ve been wrong when someone provided me with more info. I’ve accepted that, because I know I’m purely human and get things wrong. Saying basically “I’ll continue to believe I’m right despite all info to the contrary until I’m absolutely proved wrong (by which time nobody will remember it anyhow)” is your way, it seems.
Bookmarking my comment for the future, will get back to you. If I’m wrong, I’ll say so and hope you will do the same. ![]()
Want to know the great thing about player housing, it’s optional and you can ignore it. Seriously don’t get why people make posts about it when it’s something they can choose to ignore. Are you trying to get a reaction, or hoping Blizz drops support for it so quickly that it’s DOA.
Any post on this topic that starts with “I don’t understand blablabla” is almost certainly clickbait, because they know people who love housing and have wanted it for eons will respond.
OP’s responses remind me of Snozy.
No. What I have noticed is that regardless of the title of the topic. Since this is a forum for WoW players. Said players are going to have their own individual opinions regarding the topic. But that some people that don’t like the topic will always accuse the OP of posting clickbait, of being a troll, of being a A.I.bot and any other hyped-up false accusation they can think of. You have been in the forum long enough to know that.
Now here is the curious thing; I’ve made a few topics over time. And the truth is I can never guess at what the response will be. Kneeshooter. As an example you could post something like the following:
Post title: “I Love Collecting cat pets in WoW!”
There is a chance that you might get a few cat lovers responding, maybe 4 or 7. All responders agreeing with your opinion. On the other hand you might get responses like the following:
Reply: “What. you got something against dogs! I love dogs, cats are the worst animals in history. You are just trolling.”
Then next gets worse with people taking sides, arguing, insulting each other etc. All this from something very simple you posted.
My point being that regardless of what you post, you never know how the forum crowd will react. You have no control as to how many people respond or how people react. I have posted topics that got zero responses. And other topics that received hundreds of responses.
So it’s kind of random. No way of knowing how people will take anything posted.
And you should realise that your ‘cat’ example is flawed. Just because someone mocks a topic, that doesn’t make the topic flawed. It more likely makes the commenter flawed.
Hot topics generate a lot of comments. People love to be reacted to, and on many occasions you will see these sorts of posts made and the OP will never interact to respond again. Some do, but many just want to trigger.
They could just as easily voice their opinions on any one of the topics that already exist. Why don’t they - because they’d rather see that title on the screen and watch the reaction to it flow in.
I am not saying everyone who posts on a poptopic is clickbaiting; if they have something new to add, based on recently released info, that’s perfectly reasonable. But the whole “I don’t get it” type of post is just rehashing what is just as easily added as a comment in other posts. There is nothing new there.
It’s a new thing. I like new things and the new things Blizzard has been adding have been pretty entertaining. Dragon Flying. Warbands. Delves. Yeah. This might also be very good.
What I notice is that the expectations are sky high not taking into account WoW’s history. Regardless of what is promised, the end result once the expansion is released can be different. At least we know what Garrisons are about.
