Why isn’t WoW on Steam? It would boost the sub number and allow people to buy stuff using their Steam wallet.
I hope MS puts WoW on Steam like ESO and Sea of Thieves.
Because then Blizz would need to give Steam a cut, and clearly they don’t want to do that. It’s really that simple.

I seriously don’t get why people have wood for Steam… It’s clunky, it can hold your entire game library hostage, the non stop client updates is beyond annoying, the AWFUL social integrations and poor support also don’t do it any favors
You make it sound like installing WoW is hard to do or something…
Putting it on steam is competition for the existing launcher.
Business/marketing decision. Also steam takes 30% of sales generally, I think.
WoW will be on the xbox game pass eventually including all other Blizz titles
Why would they put it on there when Blizzard already has their own launcher? On Battle.net they get the full value of any sales, if they put the game on Steam then they’d have to give Steam a cut of every sale made to Steam players.
