WoW Needs These Things

  • Heritage armors for all races finalized and shipped. This is ridiculous, where’s the rest already?!
  • Heritage sets racial set variants based on each available class (like how the blood elves got paladin set). 100% even if they are recolors or variations of existing sets that work w/ the theme/lore that is fine by me.
  • Full weapon variation heritage sets that match heritage armor (like the Dark Iron Dwarf staff, axe and shield! + the Nightborn shield and weapons).
  • Unlock heritage armor to all races so we can mix and match for that cool hybrid look.
  • New heritage armor themed mounts, even if just recolors/skins I’m fine if they totally match the new armors.
  • Update the horde/alliance generic faction mog sets from WoD and also give us weapons to match.
  • Ogre playable race. Exile’s reach you turn into an ogre temporarily. It’s not hard, make it a race!
  • High Elves for the Alliance. Just give the people what they want.

Let’s get it done.

No. Classic class mechanics sucks. Bring it back for retail.

At this point, I’d rather have something different for the Alliance…

But the heritage armors have brought me so much joy and I YEARN to mix and match with the Bronzebeard set and goblin set in particular, so I love the rest of it. Purples come and go, even oranges fade in time… BUT MOGS ARE FOREVER.

They already in the Horde tho.

In all seriousness though, the majority of the forces of the remaining High Elves are members of the Silver Covenant who act as one of the two military forces under the Kirin Tor of Dalaran. While the Kirin Tor are historically Alliance leaning, their official stance is one of neutrality. They refuse to be caught up in what they view is senseless fighting between the factions. They are worried about larger threats. It is unlikely we will ever see Helves as something separate from Belves and Velves. The stories of those groups is just where Blizzard decided to take the story of High Elves in WoW. The LotR Elves are the Night Elves in Warcraft anyway. At this point why would anyone actually want High Elves to be a separate race?

No, I just want to throw the Alliance a bone so I can get Ogres by any means necessary. Mostly the post is about mogs.

I want the Scarlet Crusade’s Crimson Legion tabard. It’s been nearly TWENTY YEARS, Blizzard.

Well you cant have everything

The point of heritage armors is to give each race their own unique look. If other races could use it, it wouldn’t be heritage armor. It would just be armor.

I’d like to use the orc or mag’har battle harness chest slot on my draenei, but that’s just not the spirit behind the design here

I feel like this post was a setup for this one point.

I would say:

WoW needs to fire Ian and listen to playerbase

Ahh yes, stopping whatever i’m doing just to backtrack and find some guy to use my gold to unlock some abilites instead of learning though them naturally though the game. How buzzword: interactive /s

As fine that is in a slower paced game, in a face paced game, not really. Not without a major overhaul to make it more like how it is in retail with leveling up and auto getting abilites and such.

And go home to where? I am home.

The playerbase is way too wrong on too much. Whoever has creative direction control of WoW needs to change, but don’t go listening to the idiotic things most of this community has to say.

Honestly, WoW is coming up on 20 years. That’s too long. Game is falling apart and falling behind the competition. Pack it up and make WoW2.

Heritage armors are very much about figuring out the best story for the race in question, one which talks about who they are and what they value. I’d rather not rush these.

Do you have any idea how many heritage set’s you are talking about? Like if it’s just one class per race that’s 24 sets along with the associated quest chain.

If we’re talking about all races getting one for each of their classes this balloons into the hundreds.

see above.

I don’t think you undestand what the heritage sets are meant to be.

Each playable race has an associated ground mount already.

Of course you want it; how else are you to impale someone with your nipple?

I’ll have to wait for another Northrend expansion
