No, the majority of Airplane! is word play. (The “drinking problem”, the infamous “don’t call me Shirley” line, the responses to “what is it”, the whole tip of a hat to “who’s on first” with the pilot’s names, etc.) There is a very tiny amount of true randomness thrown in (like the topless woman running past the screen as the passengers are panicking because there’s no coffee) and a slightly higher count of slapstick sight gags (like the you-know-what hitting the fan literally and the reporters running into the bank of phones so hard they knock it over), but the vast majority of it is word play. This is why Airplane! is so quote-able and why Gen Z “humor” isn’t.
The biggest difference is Gen Z “humor” involves a lot of situational “you had to be there”. More than that, it revolves a lot around memes that got memed to the point of lunacy, usually over a span of a couple weeks, and everyone thought it was hilarious for a few days then moved on. Going back to look at those moments again later, they’re simply not actually funny, even if they were amusing in the moment. That social “conversation” is over and everyone has moved on, which is why everyone will all stare at you blankly if it gets brought up again and they’ll wonder why you’re so five minutes ago.
But what I said just above is the most important: “even if they were amusing in the moment”. Because it’s always a case of “you had to be there”, Gen Z “humor” does not have staying power. It sort of evaporates instead of sticking around, and thus it would make a poor addition to a game which is arguably designed for both lots of replay and for people to play later. You need to amuse your up and coming players two, three, or four years down the road and they won’t be amused by a constant stream of “you had to be there”.

I love all kinds of humor. BUT… the “LOLSoRandom” element of tiktok humor is just a little too kiddy for me. It just takes me a few fractions of a second too long to get it and the emotional payoff just isn’t there. It’s not satisfying to me.
I’ll stick with my slightly more contextually bound Gen X biting sarcasm.
