i didnt watch it because im blocked from youtube again or as i call it now youflix.
My main account is terminated on youtube and it sucks. I had to make a new email address just to use youtube again. I can’t even go on youtube on my main account’s browser without youtube acting up. I have to use a different chrome profile+a new email to use it.
no i blocked because youflix wants money now to view youtube with adblocker. 14$ month.

Eww…that sounds like such a gross premise. I don’t think I could play a new version of WoW without my cosmetic that I’ve paid for or earned over the years. And the “it’ll give you points for the cosmetics you did have”. Like just gross, no thanks.
Classic gets a pass at my mounts and mog not being there, because it’s a nostalgia experience.
But the only Classic+ content that would be viable or anything imo. Is to just make retail play with more of a classic vibe in difficulty with leveling and buying spells.

But re-hashing WoW over and over again on the same things. Is going to either feel old to fans, who would like new WoW stories or evolutions of stories from those zones. OR it will retcon almost ALL the lore, and WoW will lose 90% of who stayed after all these years.

I agree that WoW does need some sort of reset.
Predictable, formulaic content breeds apathy, because things don’t change.
That alone is why Dragonriding is a good system, but they didn’t lean more into it.
WoW is too focused on it’s pillars, trying to get people to ‘get gud’ at them, creating these little elitist bubbles.
Being a good player doesn’t matter, despite how many WoW players think that.
Having fun is what matters. That’s why video games exist.

To many people, playing a gear progression game that offers an optional challenge is fun.
To many people, if you remove the challenge and gear progression of WoW…they will quit.

Never said it had to be made easier. I just said it needs to be more fun.
A hard game isn’t automatically a good game, just look at Hardcore for that. I’m playing it, but even I’m aware of the flaws, I can’t in good conscience call it ‘good’ by design. Permanent death because you fell off an elevator isn’t good for a game, lol.
I’m just saying, the retail formula needs to be broken.
Things need to be shaken up. We need more things like Dragonriding.
New additions, never-before-seen systems. More things like Mage Tower, for example. That was challenging, different, and people enjoyed it. That was solo challenging content, something new at the time, and was a success.
A new raid tier isn’t gonna make people come back. Doing raids again and again isn’t gonna give you the same dopamine returns as doing it 15 years ago. Raiding has been on the decline for some time now, and I personally haven’t raided since MoP.
WoW is coming on 20 years old, and folks that have played for years want something that feels different.
I do PvP and engage with pet battles, world content stuff, but I don’t engage with instanced PvE anymore, really.
I get a lot of people still enjoy the ‘regular’ content they put out, but a lot more are looking for something else, me included.
HC is a unique spin on Classic, and it’s the new thing for now, which is why interest is over there. Imo, it’s captured interest because it’s different.
I just use ublock origin.
All you gotta do is go into its settings and update your filter list anytime Youtube starts locking you out. That or use Firefox with an adblock.
