i think a lot of people appreciate the look and feel of the game as far as style is concerned (disregarding specific criticisms of various things). i know if i ever try another mmo type (ff14, guild wars, etc) it just doesnt click. some are overwhelming even if they’re beautifully designed. i would love more detail with a lot of character customization and gear/cosmetics though, the other games i’ve dabbled in do it a lot better. i’ve seen pictures/clips of WoW in the unreal(?) engine and it does look really nice and it still keeps its style.
