It is really just time to accept wow for what it is. It is a boring, repetitive, and thin facsimile of the fun and enjoyable experience that it once provided.
The game is stale. It is currently designed to provide a set amount of entertainment per week. Putting in more or less effort than is intended is neither rewarded nor penalized. I can play at their pace now and keep up with the curve or just quit now and spend a few days (hours maybe) catching up later on.
You see the least of rewards at the highest levels of difficulty and your efforts will be completely wasted when equivalent (or better) rewards are later available from solo or small group tasks. Your grinds are the worst when you are at the head of the pack and the easiest when you just step in when catch up mechanics have started to peak.
The game is at a stage that is comparable to the least entertaining point in it’s entire history and the best argument that it’s defender’s can provide is “Well, still not quite as bad as WoD”.
Good job on those defenders turning this into a “PC vs Console” debate though, successful derail.
