Wow is not launching on my m4 Mac mini

Have been playing just fine since TWW. First time having any issue launching the game.

When I have Battlenet open and click “Play” it says it’s launching the game for an extended period of time and then just reverts to “Play” button again.

My Mac mini is up to date running 15.6

Same here. Logged off for a bit of lunch. Came back. Let Battlenet update itself and then let it update the game. Only to find I cannot launch game. No messages. Just the button reverting to “Play.” Tried turning off computer and then turning it all back on again. It still refuses to launch game. Am on an iMac 2021 M1. Wow installed on external SSD.

I literally just clicked the cogwheel next to “play” chose “scan and repair” took maybe 5 minutes and now it works all of a sudden ><

Giving that a try. Your internet is faster than mine. Gonna be a little longer than 5 minutes. Will report back later.

Back. It worked! Thanks ! :grinning:

Same thing for me. Battle.net has been frequently requiring me to reboot before it would update, but this afternoon I ran into the same issue. Thanks for the tip on “scan and repair”.

Ug, Well Scan and repair time I guess. (a “me too” for not launching)

Try quiting battle net and waiting for 2-3 minutes instead of rebooting when it will not update. There is also a process that you can terminate but I cannot remember which one.

I had the same issue. the game would not launch via battlenet app or stand alone. I ran the scan and repair and was able to play again. (m4 pro mac mini OS 15.6 )

Seems to be a signature validation error:

Same for me. I installed the .5 PTR, and no Retail client has launched since. Relogging, no. Rebooting, no. MacBook Pro 2023.

I can’t get WoW Standard Edition to launch on my m1 Mac mini. It will launch on Classic. Is WoW or Battle.net down?

I am having the same exact issue. I was playing fine this morning, then there was an update and now the game won’t launch. I’m on a macbook pro
