Unlike diablo which has fun gameplay. WoW gameplay is not fun enough to play without rewards. Which makes me have second guesses about continuing to play. I’ll play 11.0 as a tourist to see the new content a couple times but I’m thinking I’ll probably dip after a month or so.
If WoW gameplay was more fun I’m sure there wouldn’t be xpack month tourists. People would be more inclined to stick around.
You can have fun working towards rewards, they’re just kind of there as a structure.
Maybe the game isn’t for you right now.
You lost me at Diablo has fun gameplay.
Are you telling me you can play Diablo without getting rewards? That would basically be spamming normal dungeons or clearing only cellars and never getting gear upgrades

I just rolled my 50th character. Just level. Don’t do raids, mythic dungeons, or pvp. Great fun for me.

the whole point of diablo is the loot grind, it’s entire gameplay loop is kill things for rewards.
People aren’t doing thousands of Baal runs because they’re fun, they do them to get phat lootz.
Yeah but it’s fun even if you’re not getting upgrades. WoW is just dead in the water as far as gameplay goes.

PvP is kinda of fun but more often than not it’s more frustrating than fun
diablo 4 gameplay is horrible. now if we’re talking original diablo/diablo2. Then you might have an argument.
As i’ve gotten older, my definition of fun has altered. i dont really chase what i used to.
Every new expansion regardless if it’s WoW or not has this. It’s called the honeymoon phase, it lasts roughly 6 months. it’s not just exclusive here.
sounds like you’ve outgrown wow friend, might be time to move on to greener pastures.
Like I said, I’ll sub a month or 2 for new xpacks or big patches. Other than that, it’s not worth the time.

Busy in D4 atm seeing how fast I can click my right mouse button for like 95% of my actions. Smashing another boss after boss after boss.
I have fun goofing off in trade chat, and my only reward is reading a witty rejoinder from someone out there as vulgar and cynical as I am.
I haven’t ever met an xpac month tourist, but I have met a bunch of people who have exhausted the seasonal content and so they go to another game until the new season starts.
There’s only so many times you can repeat keys before it’s just mind numbing.
You can say the same thing about diablo. Once I beat the game I got bored of it immediately. You’re just doing the same thing again and again
