Yes there is.
People just don’t want to contribute. They want “social” gift wrapped and handed to them

Oh. Ion worked on WotLk.
So per you
He is passionate about the game and it’s player base.
I find that the funnest things to do take some searching. I like to go after things like Ba’al and the waist of time, the achievements, and mounts that aren’t seen very often. I kinda skipped shadowlands l, so now I’m working on torghast and that whole thing. These are all things you can work on in between patches and until you can figure out what direction you wanna go.
This mid season patch couldn’t be more stale. It’s log in get ring kill 5 world bosses and unless you want some mogs or catch up gear you’re pretty much done.
Speak for yourself. Yes, I run delves, dungeons, and LFR, but those aren’t the only things to do.
You can actually run all professions and remain viable again. But it takes a good bit of farming. Once again I don’t have to run to the AH for, well anything. I did buy a couple thousand bismuth once my alchemy could transmute the big JC gem, but that’s about it.
I am also not the only player doing this with professions, so that alone would reduce your statistic to 80%. A number that came from the same place yours did, thin air.
Bring back corruption everyone feels weak
Looks like it. That’s why I took a break. A long break and I don’t usually take breaks this early in an expac but there’s just nothing there that interests me.
It was bound to happen eventually, I guess.
“The waiting list of IO DungeonCraft” FTFY. M+ ruined the game.
I don’t think mythics ruined the game. I also don’t think it was any “one” or single person who “ruined” the game.
I think it was just bound to happen. The longer you play, the less you find surprising or discoverable.
If that made sense.
Yeah
It was better when there was nothing to do.
Having to be social is horrible
I find classic WAY more social that retail. By leaps and bounds. M+ reduced social interactions for me by about 90%. Now if I do them I go with the same group of people doing the task we decided to do. Random que was fun. Lists and IO are just reasons for people to get angry with each other. I have never seen an aspect of gameplay in an MMO that breeds more contempt for your fellow players than M+. PVP still breeds more fellowship than M+.
Particularly when a new island is smaller than my closest…
I think WoW could use some modernization, time for another graphics overhaul. I would also like to see more world bosses and actually have good drops from them. I also think we could stand to have simpler raids, not simpler boss fights, just simpler raids. Each one should be queue, fight the boss, leave. However, I don’t think I would call it ‘stale’. For a 20 year old game they do a good job of keeping things fresh and adding more content in a timely manner. I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth in entertainment. Also, the community isn’t that toxic. I rarely have issues with anyone in game. Most people are just very quiet.
I would rather see simple raids with big groups of people all doing things together. I think you need to make it simple enough that half you raid can carry the other half. It felt like that during Classic / TBC / Wrath. Simple fights that you just need enough number to accomplish.
The game is 20 years old… what do people expect lol
Blizz is milking it for all they can and we all still are paying to play obviously.
So they put in minimum effort because it still pays.
i feel like wow has run its course aka became stale. That being said if they released wow 2.0 or UoW (Universe of Warcraft) id be all over that again.
Dragon flying is probably the best thing they added in the recent years.
I really long for an old guy game with new graphics aka something like Everquest 1 (back in 1999 with class weapon quests that took you thru a huge adventure) packing good/water in your backpack so you had to eat and drink or just die of thirst or starving - game play of that era with graphics of tomorrow - oh man, sign me up!
it’s a game that’s been active for 20 years. it’s gonna feel kind of “same-y” no matter what they add. if it’s bad, take a break! ![]()
Yea the WoW2 needs to happen updated visuals and a new direction for gameplay and story.
It would be hard to let go of all the stuff we’ve collected overtime but there is always a cash shop for cosmetics i guess. Since the companies love making money
Once again.
Weird you would rather there be nothing to do, and force others to have nothing to do.
And once again. You can absolutely be social in m+. You can find a guild or community.
It’s ok for there to be a variety of difficulties and not everything trivial.
Those are massive improvements. Follower dungeons, delves and story mode raids allow a sizeable portion of the player base, that doesn’t do group activity, to experience the entire expansion. That is something that previously we had to do by looking for cut scenes on YouTube.
That is more like 3 steps forward for the end game people then another 6 steps forward for the rest of us.
