Until there’s an actual statement of it coming to consoles, it ain’t happening. But maaaaaybe if someone were to prove it was "easy " to do so, then maybe they would.

Well, WoW will either have to figure that out or it will have to adjust the gameplay to the slowing reflexes of the elderly because the iPad generation doesn’t know how to use a controller, let alone a keyboard lol

Interesting theory by the OP but I’m more inclined to think these changes have everything to do with Blizz planning to populate the game with ai. Who isn’t to say that Ai could literally farm its own gold, pay for its own tokens, and keep wow’s economy going indefinitely?
Now that ai can assume classes and do rotations… keep your real friends even closer. Life is going to get spooky for a while.

Yeah Microsoft will 100% try to put it on console and/or mobile, as the console market is like 50% of the gaming market and Microsoft is a major player in it.

If there is going to be cross-play they need to label these guys… because not many people who are pushing content are going to wanna add a handicap like a console players on here.

Again, zero evidence that WoW is coming to mobile.
Blizzard has already explained why they’re making the changes they are. If they were doing it not for those reasons but for a console port, they’d have said so.

And you’re really foolish if you think that Blizzard is spending their time working on a console port for WoW.
Again, there’s zero evidence supporting this idiotic idea. Hell, the amount of work required just for the port would be huge, and it would require the efforts of the current WoW dev team, who, last I checked, have been busy trying to get 11.1.7 out the door, along with the upcoming 11.2 patch and 11.2.5, which they’re internally testing now.
Not to mention the work they have to put in to get Midnight ready for release, and I’m sure they’re working on The Last Titan in some capacity as well.

If they do it like D4 there will be an option to turn off crossplay. That keeps all players in your world pc only

Left trigger is alt, right trigger is shift and both triggers together is control.

I’m inclined to agree with this theory. Mainly because it will eliminate the sub culture of people making money off of the Blizzard brand that they get no financial benefit from.
It used to be fandom to create an add on that helps. But now it’s all placed on secondary provider apps like wow up. There is revenue leakage there and microsoft is undoubtedly aware.
The billions paid for Activision won’t be recovered by a Bruto mount. It going to be a long term effort to sure up all revenue leaks, add additional revenue opportunities and properly integrate it into the Microsoft ecosystem which may include console port.
This is all opinion, unfounded speculation, not fact or information.

Love the ignorance that consoles can’t use keyboard and mouse still thrive. FFIV has been able to fully integrate keyboard and mouse for their game with no issue. But…the bigotry and blatant ignoring of the facts gives me laughs.
