I actually have to play significantly more to be able to keep up on WoWtoken, it’s easier to just pay the sub fee lol.
Well, I’d just burn myself out making gold, so I am hesitant.
I’ve only two level 90’s, and I make most money through Majestic Hide and decor sales.
Enough for some token, but again I’d rather sit on the money than spend it.
It’s about an hour a day of farming to make token. But you like need to know what you’re doing and the alt army helps.

I’ve seen rare mog items go for 500k, getting lucky and obtaining one of those would make me set for a while.
I have better things to do in all honesty. If it works for you I’m happy for you, but the game wouldn’t be much fun to me if I spent hours in-game to earn what I can in minutes at work.

They’ve only made the Legendary items system in Shadowlands worse than random loot, and the Covenant worse than the one-only talent system in Vanilla, and Azerite is something to cry about every day we lost our artifact weapons.
And they even worsened some of the content that Legion itself had, and they shouldn’t have changed it. If it’s already broken, don’t touch it.

Not to mention that their open-world content isn’t fun at all; they’re trying to imitate the live event world from Vanilla. Back then, there were only two continents, and it was the whole world. Now, every expansion brings new zones. Blizzard can’t keep Azeroth alive without it being a new zone, and Silvermoon doesn’t mean it’s the only content. Azeroth is a deserted world except for the new expansion, and they haven’t learned that their world is half dead.
If it’s not at max level, it’s even on MoP Classic. I don’t know how it is on other classic servers, but this neglect indicates that it doesn’t incentivize players to participate at the main levels. It’s like a pirate server where they just wait for players to reach max level before doing any content.
If it’s what you say, the game is kind of abandoned.
Since WotLK Classic, the problem has stemmed from DK bots, and from an issue that Blizzard hasn’t resolved regarding smurf accounts and the fact that they aren’t allowed to be abused by accounts that use boosts to farm honor points. It’s something Blizzard really hasn’t fixed for the average non-retail player.
The worst part is that players abandon older content because it’s not recommended for meta gear and max item level, which makes Blizzard treat recent content as disposable garbage. It’s truly disappointing how they treat their game, and the community itself is also responsible for not helping to keep recent content from this expansion running smoothly without the season pass issue.
And it will be worse in the endgame content before the expansion is over.
They’re not relevant, they heavily support modern content and ignore other casual content that many players have enjoyed and that’s the reason why they play the MMO. It really angers me that Blizzard doesn’t force us to play what they want us to play.
This is the Blizzard of today, and that little smile you show when introducing yourself as Holly (KATHLEEN LAME KENNEDY) Longdale is just one example of how she has no shame in letting the TRUE situation of the MMO be found in the gaslighting elephant of the room.
It should be, but they focus on ridiculous content like Darkspear Run that most people don’t care about.

Of course the fraction of the budget, they are profiting off an IP they stole? They don’t have the over head and they can do whatever they want. They have to answer to a couple thousand players instead of millions. Plus they are mostly cash grabs that shut down and pop up as another server to get that influx money. They are mostly using a client that is already solved and have to make minor adjustments when there are issues. meanwhile blizzard has to make changes and test them because all these game modes are interconnected and they can break different games. Also the People here are fickle. One minute everyone screaming no changes. Then next demanding classic plus, all with different ideas on what that is. These servers can just throw new ideas out there because they have nothing to lose.
Of course blizzard is shutting down they have to protect their IP. IF these servers made their own game I would be impressed.
I’ve never been a fan of the hard reset they’ve started doing since late DF. I do enjoy some of my effort to overlap into the next patch to let me skip say normal raiding or low end keys.
All of the raid content being relevant for the entire expansion cycle sounds interesting. But I’m unsure how to go about that without a massive uproot on how loot is handled with delves/m+, as their existence would always trip up the classic wow step progression mentality.

Then why are you wasting your time & money playing? There’s a ton of stuff to do. I skip nearly all of it and I haven’t been bored with the game since bfa
I love retail WoW but sometimes if I want excitement I goto classic hardcore. From 1-60 is a blast.
