You keep on saying “You, You, You” when I am not at all an elitist. You didn’t even read my post, just jumped to the defensive. You might actually have a “defense” justification if your FIRST POST in this thread wasn’t overflowing with insults. You threw the first punch buddy.
I’m waiting for him to say the achievement dates are wrong because blah blah blah…
totes not his OG account, right?
You’re looking at the wrong raid.
And wheres your link?
Dude is just a lair looking to play the victim card , my ex girlfriend back in high-school was the same way
Has anyone noticed that the person that appears to be the most elitist and unwelcoming is the person complaining about elitism?
Talking about pulling charts and various credentials that make his opinion superior to all others. Lacking self awareness.
PVP is better rewarded than PVE is.
And PVP is also a mess.
I’m happy for you that you did that.
But a lot of people can’t, one reason or another.
So now you’re just making crap up to further your own dramatic narrative?
Have you even read this thread to know what you’re talking about? The people you’re responding to are the ones who absolutely aren’t elitists. LOL
Nope. Shenanigans are called. You came in here with this crap as your very first post:
YOU started this. YOU brought the responses on yourself. NO ONE insulted you. But YOU continued to insult others who did respond to your toxicity.
I hate to say it but hate the game, not the player.
As with any game, WoW has feedback systems that reward or punish player behavior based upon what it wants to encourage or discourage. WoW encourages having the best stats, gear, talents, covenants, etc. and all of that comes down to a mathematical equation, and this affects every level of WoW’s gameplay.
A group of casual players doing a few normal bosses will suffer from poor itemization just as much (if not more) than a group trying to push mythic content: the skill gap usually means the normal group needs that crutch all the more.
The only real “choices” in WoW are cosmetics. Everything else sadly boils down to “optimal” and “suboptimal”.
Again, the goals the game offers the player shape player mentality in its entirety. At the very least, WoW could alleviate some of its toxicity with a commendation system of some kind at the end of dungeons/LFR as that would provide SOME incentive for players to not be toxic, as opposed to the 0 incentive they have now.
You didn’t get bane until 2010, you didn’t get kingslayer until 2010, you didn’t clear 10 man until 2010, you didn’t clear 25 man until 2010
Wanna play games with me? You’ll lose.
I wouldn’t say wow is full of elitists. Wow is full of people who entirely depend on a video game for their sense of self worth, to improve their personal sense of self worth they put other people down. Its not necessarily elitism because its not just HoF raiders doing it, its people with a few mythic kills or people who haven’t even been past heroic or seen a key past +10.
Thats not elitism thats just being a jerk to boost your ego.
What reason, i work a full time job have a wife and a 17 month old daughter, I play in 2 bands and some how I manage the 6 hours a week to raid. So what reason? What? Please enlighten me on why people can’t do simple things like a plus 10 or a couple bosses in heroic?
Yes everyone, lets all group up in unison and focus on one person and deny we are the definition of bullies as we do it!
World of Warcraft, along with every other game, has different type of people who play the game.
Every game has casual players and try hard players, and every type of player enjoys the game the way they want.
What I don’t understand is why you care what “elitist” have to say or think about how you enjoy the game.
I am 2600 rated in PvP and I consider my self a try hard in WoW, however in another game like CoD for example, I play very casually. As an elitist in WoW I don’t care what you have to say about me I’m going to keep playing the game the way I want, and in CoD I don’t care what try hards have to say about to me, I’m going to keep playing the game the way I want.
You see the beautiful thing about games is you have the power to do anything you want.
Don’t like someone’s comment? Ignore them.
Don’t like their group rules? Make your own.
Don’t like the guilds personality? Join another.
If you’re allowing other people that play the game differently than you get into your head then that’s all on YOU. You have the freedom to play the game casually and if you’re allowing other people to halt your fun then you’re doing something wrong.
I have played many other games both casually and try hard and I have never had a problem with any of them. I play how I want, with who I want, when I want, on which ever game I want. No one can say or do anything to stop me, it’s a game. There is no elitist problem, you’re the one making it a problem.
ah! It’s a Raider IO thread…
Yep. There’s pretty much no denying that fact, and the devs have fed into this with their obsession over mythic raids, non-solo PvP rating, and the M+ infinite grind where they just refuse to set a ceiling on content.
That’s not gonna last much longer…
Of course… he will claim this is a newer account… with 2009 achievements.
We are using the words you have explicitly stated here and nothing more. Nobody has insulted you. Nobody is attacking you.
This is what happens when you present something that isn’t true to a group of people that know it isn’t true.
