you got 2 ears, learn how to use them, kid
No, it’s a full circle contradiction. Just laughable, never change.
Maybe you misunderstood what I was saying, because there is nothing contradictory there.
Just because a good player can carry an inexperienced player does not mean they should be doing so.
Its a two way street, and that is what I was saying there.
Be the best you can be so you aren’t in this position.
That’s the take away.
Its not, hes saying a player can adapt and follow other peoples lead, still put up decent numbers the first time and not die to things like don’t stand in aoe or fire.
when you get into a certain level in the game you should know what is ok to stand in and not stand in.
The problem is people joining higher level things and dieing to the same thing over and over and the excuse is they have never been there before and dieng to stupid things and blaming that. “ive never been in this zone I didn’t know standing in this aoe marker that ive seen 100x before in 100 other zones would kill me”
Good luckon this OP, they have scaled back actual customer service
they dont even have enough actual devs for the game anymore and you want better CS?
you must be new…
lol
If someone is doing a dungeon/boss/encounter/whatever for the first time, you can forgive them for not being perfect at it.
you are correct, but there is a diff between not being prefect and dieing every 10 seconds
OP needs to git gud.
True story, I’ve died on bosses that I have yet to see until the first encounter with them. Heck I’ve died on bosses I’ve fought before just because of mistakes I might make. No one is perfect.
Do I eventually get better at fighting them over time? Of course. But shaming someone for a death or less-than-average DPS when it’s their first time is just silly.
Like the other words that your generation likes to toss around constantly, it’s overused, misused, and worn out. Clearly you don’t know what bullying really is.
I didn’t and I’m not going to go through the trouble of showing you. Last time I did this, I lost my posting privileges for 7 days. Not worth, best of luck champ. Muting thread, you green people have too much power on these forums, spooky.
You shouldn’t lose too much sleep over what beardnecks and wolfshirts have to say about you, pal…
Life threats, lol.
Come on man.
theyre green NOT blue
People who generalize about entire communities have no life, pal…
And yes, I get the irony of generalizing about people who generalize.
I haven’t come across too many toxic people in wow. But sometimes I do actually. I find it easiest to ignore them if they’re really toxic.
not if you want that Titan and the space to fly it in! LOL
sure, but his point is that there are some fundamental truths to wow gameplay.
Let’s use wrathion as our example. The first time you go in there, maybe you haven’t read the dungeon journal, or watched a guide (which, if I’m being honest, is awful team behavior).
the boss is a dragon. You don’t know where to stand. Do you
- Stand in front of him
- Stand behind him
- Stand to the side of him.
if you choose 1 or 2, you’re either dead or in for a rough time. But the thing is, you don’t need to have seen the fight multiple times to know this, because every dragon ever in wow has a frontal ability and a tail swipe.
that’s the kind of stuff I think metro is talking about. Just be aware of the general basics of wow, and extrapolate from there.
“oh, a dragon, guess I shouldn’t stand behind it”
But, on topic, I think people are far, far, FAR too sensitive, and too quick to come crying to the forums about how bullied they are every time they encounter someone in-game that they don’t like.
“Must be a personality match to 100% of the wow playerbase” isn’t anywhere in the ToS. You are inevitably going to encounter people you don’t like. People who don’t like you are going to cross paths with you. That’s life.
Someone calling you out for low damage or poor play in group content? You can take that as bullying, or you can take that as feedback and use it to improve.
Corps got titans, not really an individual considering how hard they can be to protect(but I have not played it in a long time, so maybe things have changed).
This certainly.
Normally I don’t concern myself with the spelling head-cannon of posters here even though they are either sitting in front of or holding in their hands the most powerful reference portal that has ever existed, but when making a post title, I think it might be important to present one’s self well and so I hope you will take this criticism in the congenial spirit in which it is given.
