It is no longer possible to see two Tess Greymane NPCs in The Hall of Shadows.
Quests
Fixed an issue that allowed the mirror to be entered before completing “Through Glass,” causing the player to have to return to the quest starting location to turn in.
Vial of Wracking Poison will once again apply the Wracking Poison weapon effect during the quest “The Power of Poison.”
It would be really nice if y’all would fix the two recent issues that have popped up…
Halondrus, phase 3, several graphics issues (even reported on Wowhead) that make the fight damn near impossible, as the mechanics go invisible…
Any hunter that targets a boss, immediately auto-shots and enter combat. without the player actually meaning to engage. Very frustrating to players who like to be ready to go when the pull timer is up
Fixed an issue causing Planetcracker Beams to be invisible during the final stage.
Did you also fix the part where bombs and world markers are also phasing in and out of visibility?
so i guess they left Grimoire of Sacrifice bugged? it kills pet then pet revives itself and Grimoire is on CD and you dont have the pets ability. didnt see that getting fixed
Hello! Here is the hotfix from today and the raid encounter adjustments that will be available after weekly maintenance this week:
JUNE 20, 2022
Dungeons and Raids
Sepulcher of the First Ones
Developers’ note: We’ve heard feedback that several encounters in Sepulcher of the First Ones would benefit from adjustments, as they’re too difficult due to punishing mechanics, and we want to further reduce the likelihood that those mechanics can quickly cause an unrecoverable wipe.
We have also received feedback that the Lihuvim encounter was too constrained due to the difficulty of some of the Automa, so we wanted to make adjustments to open the possibility of different strategies to players.
The following raid adjustments will be made with this week’s scheduled weekly maintenance:
Lihuvim
Lihuvim health reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
Resonance Cascade damage reduced by 90% on Mythic difficulty.
Increased the cooldown of Guardian Automa’s Form Sentry Automa on Mythic difficulty.
Halondrus
Aftershock damage reduced by 75% on Mythic difficulty.
Planetcracker Beam damage reduced by 65% and its damage occurs less frequently on Mythic difficulty.
Anduin Wrynn
Hopelessness and Overconfidence duration increased to 16 seconds on all difficulties (was 12 seconds).
Blasphemy will no longer be triggered when coming in contact with an unmarked player on Mythic difficulty. The tooltip will reflect this change in a future patch.
March of the Damned damage reduced by 75% on all difficulties.
Soul Explosion damage and travel speed reduced by 30% on all difficulties.
Banish Soul cast time increased to 16 seconds on Mythic difficulty (was 12 seconds).
Necrotic Detonation cast time increased by 30% on Mythic difficulty.
Rygelon
Dark Eclipse now targets 3 players on Mythic difficulty (was 4).
Unstable Matter health reduced by 25% on Mythic difficulty.
The Jailer
The Jailer’s melee damage reduced by 25% on all difficulties.
Torment damage reduced by 30% on all difficulties.
Unholy Eruption damage reduced by 30% on all difficulties.
Rune of Compulsion absorb reduced by 30% on Mythic difficulty.
Chain Breaker now targets the nearest 3 allies on Mythic difficulty (was 4).
Incarnation of Torment health reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.
Diverted Life Shield reduced by 75% on Mythic difficulty.
Chains of Anguish will no longer reposition linked targets when the primary target moves out of range on Mythic difficulty.
Items and Rewards
Fixed an issue that caused Ominous Seedling to not appear after planting the Ominous Seed.
Fixed an issue where the camera’s field of view could be increased past 90.
Developers’ note: The ability to restrict the field of view was added in 9.2.5 as an accessibility measure to help alleviate motion sickness. All of World of Warcraft – the art, combat mechanics, and player interactions – are built within the parameters of the user interface experience and scale. Increasing the field of view beyond the limit that has been in place since WoW launched was not intended.
Burning Crusade Classic
[With realm restarts] To address a bug that prevented Midsummer Fire Festival bonfire quests from resetting for players who previously completed them, all Midsummer bonfire quests will be reset. This includes any yearly quests that players might have completed for the first time since the event began at 12:01 a.m. on June 21.
Developers’ note: This fix requires that we restart all realms, so to get the fix applied as soon as possible, we’re preforming realm restarts soon during off-peak hours in each region.
What if you let us increase FoV but reduce the max camera zoom to compensate? WoW has always felt claustrophobic to me, and the old script to zoom out further barely helped. Something to make the game feel better to play without affecting gameplay.
I assumed that the restrictive fov was an engine restriction all these years. But now that I know it’s possible to increase it seems ludicrous to restrict it like this.
Why do you guys fix a “bug” that everyone likes and wants in the game in 3 days yet Unity has been bugged for 4-5 months and hunter’s autoshot has been bugged over a month? Insane.
