Players who tell Tal-Inara that they have been to Zereth Mortis before and have already met Pocopoc will now receive the Enlightened reputation they would miss out on by skipping those quests.

I have 9 alts that have already skipped it (all of my alts), will they be granted the missing reputation? If not this is too late for all of my characters.

In a similar boat, already skipped on quite a few characters…

I was ok with losing it since it was part of the deal. But now that it isn’t part of the deal… I went to ZM on 16 alts so far and parked them in the inn…

• Developers’ note: Enlightened reputation is strongly tied to the Zereth Mortis campaign, and we felt it was unfair to have a high hidden cost associated with using the dialogue option that skips the Zereth Mortis introductory quests for players who’ve already completed the introduction on other characters. This change addresses that by making the choice net neutral with regard to Enlightened reputation.

This is a good change, but are we going to retroactively get the reputation back on any alts we might’ve used the skip on?

I already skipped 3/7 on nine different alts, including several which need their 226 Conduits. Am I not going to get that rep back? Because as it stands, I feel like I was punished for playing alts early.

Is this retroactive? I skipped it on one character that I would like to play, but this was a brutal loss of rep I didn’t know about at the time. Please give us the lost rep retroactively, thanks.

Pocopoc will now retain its advanced combat coroutines after using Ancient Translocators.

What about his hat? Little guy always taking it off. Needs to be addressed. What’s the point of giving him hats if he refuses to leave them on? He should be summoned in with his last equipped hat.

This is surprising, I would have thought you would have realized the massive rep loss with the first skip. It only took me skipping it once to realize what I had cost myself.

Still, the rep should definitely be retroactively granted to those characters that made the brutally punishing mistake of skipping the intro.

I valued getting Zereth Mortis unlocked more than the rep on alts. I don’t enjoy the campaign enough to justify doing it several times over.

I wouldn’t call this mistake brutally punishing, but if they’re going to make the skip give the full rep I firmly believe they should apply the rep gains retroactively to any characters that used the skip, because now I feel as though I was punished for making the choice I thought would be correct.

Its brutally punishing. Its basically, if not completely, impossible to get revered on time if you skipped.

Well, not really. There’s no incentive to get Revered on more than one character, and you have to do the campaign at least once. The 265 legendary is a Campaign thing, and the Memory you buy at Revered next week is account-wide.

The decanter for the 239 conduits requires revered, the augment rune requires exalted, and neither is BoA. I guess its not a huge deal, but its still a couple weeks worth of rep lost.

I’m glad to see someone finally mention this. It has been driving me crazy. I have all these hats for him, and I keep trying to put them on, only to find out he took it off again mere minutes or even seconds later for some reason. I don’t want to keep having to ask him to wear his hat every two steps. >…<

Seriously this, I went through all 25 of my 60’s a few weeks ago and did the skip so I could at least farm the weekly boss, and now they’re all at about 500-1000 into Neutral. Not retroactively boosting those of us who did the skip prior to this hotfix is a bit cruel.

Is this going to be resolved for those that already skipped? My alt cannot make relevant legendaries now and is so far behind its not even worth the effort

And for that matter, why the hell is Tome of the Eternal rep locked anyway? I did the stupid quest, I played the content I’ve already seen. Why does this need also for me to fly in circles getting chests and world quests… again? Im 4k+ into revered on my main already!

That’s more than my toons that I skipped on and have done just the world boss weekly 3 times (they’re at 1.5k). Had they started with 1975 they’d be Friendly now.
